True story! I am a Tv & Radio personality & love BLOND HAIR! I’m truly a people person and very polite. I have a great audience and I love to look good. I had not done my blond in a few months, I went into a new hair salon that I had never been , my experience was terrible. They had already given me a price for my highlights, my roots, conditioning treatment and a haircut, suddenly they began to add costs higher & higher for every each of my head and their attitude towards me was rude and disrespectful! I got up and left. With my surprise there was AVEDA Hair Salon at the Spectrum in Irvine, I walked in and I was welcomed with a great smile by the front desk girl, she said YES we can help you but come back in 1.5 hrs. I said yes and went to eat at a great Chinese restaurant next door. When I came back I met Michelle (An Angel) the hairstylist who didn’t go around the bushes, she went straight to the point and gave me a very reasonable price with an explanation about the condition of my hair and I approved everything that she nicely suggested!! Her personality, sense of humor and professionalism plus her great experience she made my hair look just outstanding! We spoke for hours during the coloring etc and i feel that I’ve FINALLY found the HAIR SALON for my hair needs. Thank you Michelle for your amazing service, your smiles and I love my hair and I highly recommend AVEDA Hair Salon for your hair needs & Michelle without a doubt you’re the VERY BEST 🏆 ! First time there I was in an extreme hurry and only came into the salon looking for a product. I explained to the reception what I was looking for and she had Michelle come help me. Seeing the shape my hair was in Michelle offered and talked me into a quick shaping. Within 10 minutes she had the style back and we booked for a month later. She knew exactly what to do. I had been going to my hairdresser for over 40+ years, with the same style and he nailed every time. Then he retired. Had been struggling to find someone new, bringing in pictures of what my style had been. Everyone said no problem and I went home in tears and embarrassed til it grew out. At my first appointment with Michelle we went over my photos, she listened to me, explained why my hair looked the way it did and how she would correct it. She knew the style, which she said a lot of stylists are not familiar with and try to copy it. It is a short style with defined angles and layers giving it a messy look that takes minimal time to work with. As most women, my hair is my glory and I am extremely fussy over it.The first 3 appointments/months, I was impatient and not happy, but she patiently calmed me down, worked on it and now it is perfect. It was worth the months of agony with other stylists, to meet and work with her. She keeps the shape without looking like a fresh cut that needs to grow out and has started to add natural looking highlights. I have many compliments, again, leading to referrals. Out of the blue, I am so lucky to have walked in the salon that day. The salon is clean, inviting, relaxing, and welcoming. Always a nice experience. THANK YOU MICHELLE!

I just moved to California and needed a new salon. Having visited an Aveda Salon previously in Orlando, I decided to give this one a try. And I was so happy and pleased after my first appointment. Michelle was amazing, listened and knew exactly what to do! This will now be my regular spot thanks to her, the staff and the relaxing ambiance! And bonus that it's located at Irvine Spectrum for shopping after :-)

This place is divine. They moved things around to get me in for a two hour balayage appointment last minute on a Saturday during the holidays and Tasha is an absolute star and angel wrapper into one. So fun like you’re at a sleepover with a girlfriend and my hair turned out so gorgeous!

Got an amazing men’s haircut. They were able to give me a modern style and make it super clean. The experience overall was awesome too, the workers are so kind and welcoming. Going to head back there in 2 weeks
