I contemplated on writing this but the more I look at my hair the more I'm just not completely satisfied with it. I asked for a simple root smudge and to tone my hair which was already light blonde to a more icy/platinum blonde which seem like it would be no problem to get(this is blondish after all the blonde experts), and a trim. I showed inspirational pics and was very direct. I did state that I do not want any red, orange, yellow tones in my hair very firmly after the first toning in which we both could tell that it probably was going to be that color and so she did another tone. After the second toning I thought maybe it would be more of what I asked for and on surface level it look like it might be ok, but it was like a light purple / off-white and she told me that once I wash my hair that purple will come out. Well I waited 3 days to wash my hair and I lightly use shampoo, conditioner and a very small amount of purple shampoo. She was correct that the purple came out, but once I dried it (and yes I used a heat protectant)it definitely was not icy or platinum or even close to that It's a color that I'm unsure of really. I also asked for a trim maybe 2inches and absolutely no layer, well my hair is just choppy now also🥺 I know certain shampoos, the way you do your hair can take some of that stuff away but 3 days later I should have the color I asked for or very close I'm very realistic that nothing is perfect or going to be exact but it should have been close It definitely is not. While I was getting me hair done, I was looking around and the other stylist were doing amazing on other people so I figured mine would be just as good It just was not. Not sure what to do, but it's not what I asked for or expected.

Yes, yes, yes!! I was resistant to "cheating" on my stylist until she massively overquoted me and failed a strand test. When I found Sam at Blondish on Instagram, I really loved her style and her broad portfolio and decided to book with her, and I am SO GLAD I DID!! My old stylist told me I couldn't go blonde or achieve anything close to my goals and she was way wrong. Sam got me right where I want to be-- from super dark brown (almost black) to a nice beige blonde, I am beyond satisfied. I'm stoked! I now have a new stylist and I will never go anywhere else. Sam's attention to detail is really impressive. She goes above and beyond to give you exactly what you want while preserving the health of your hair. 10/10 I could not recommend enough. Thank you!!! Edit: I probably asked her 100 questions in full-bodied paragraphs through Instagram which she painstakingly answered with as much detail as possible. I know that's probably annoying to a stylist when a person has not even officially booked with you yet but it's part of what made me trust her. My hair is sacred to me and she understood that and patiently answered every question in detail ❤️

I had the most amazing experience at this salon with Jessica. At first, I was a bit skeptical because I’ve had terrible salon experiences in the past, but from the moment I walked in the receptionist asked me if my hair was naturally textured to which I said yes. Immediately, she told me about Jessica, who also has curly hair and specializes in curls. I was thrilled. Needless to say, I scheduled an appointment that same week and had the BEST service ever! Not only did she give me exactly what I wanted, but she was so sweet and maintained the health of my hair. Thank you so much, if I could give 10 stars I would! Mildly obsessed with my new hair by Jessica! She is now my go-to curly hair stylist, and she is great to talk to! It was my third time with Jessica and fifth time with Blondish. Recently renovated beautiful salon, comfortable chairs, attentive specialists. They are so sweet to offer snacks and drinks too. Always such a refreshing experience. Every time I cut off my hair I feel so light and free. It’s an experience I wish every woman would consider at least once.

Jess does an amazing job everytime I go in!! She takes her time, makes sure I like how short I want it. Best hair dresser I’ve ever had!
