Commack Corners Barber Shop

I'm moving off of Long Island, so sadly, I won't be a regular customer at Commack Corners. 😢 The lady who owns it is a real sweetheart and always pleasant. Paolo was my regular barber there, but I haven't seen him in a long time. All the barbers there do great work, though. I've never been disappointed any time I've gone in for a haircut. Others here have mentioned the old school feel. I entirely agree; I love it too. The very best time to go in is right before Christmas. They have Christmas music going and it's just a great atmosphere. The owner gave me a hug when I told her that I was unfortunately leaving. But somehow, I will find a way to come back, even if it's only once or twice a year. Yeah, they really are that great.

Great little neighborhood barbershop. I'm Gen X, and grew up in Brooklyn. This brings me back to my childhood. Guys getting their haircut, barbers, and customers speaking Italian. My barber, Angelo, doesn't need to ask me what number I need on the top and sides. He just knows what to do. Old school. I love it!
