I was searching for a place to get my first haircut after moving to Maryland from Los Angeles. Long overdue. And I searched online, but every shop was specializing in expensive, "special" cuts. All I needed was a normal cut at a decent, fare price. I had a good feeling about Edgewood Barbershop when I passed by. I decided to stop in and I was warmly greeted and seated right away! So far, so good. Then the barber asked my cut preference and she suggested something just a bit different, and I agreed. I recieved a great cut, had good conversation and an overall great, calming experience. I had my last barber for 20 years, so this really means a lot to me. This is my forever barber shop now. I even recieved a neautiful handmade dish towel that my wife and I will use. Thank you ladies. 🙏🏾💖✝️

Recently moved to the area and desperately needed a haircut. I wasn’t planning on it but walked by and liked the look of the place. As soon as I walked in a bright smile welcomed me in and sat me down right away. The entire experience was probably the best haircut I’ve ever gotten. It was quick, the company was wonderful. And the best part, their amazing dogs were so polite and well behaved it felt very homey with funny decorations and that feel of familiarity with the clients that came and went while I was there. At a fair price I will be back here like clockwork to get my haircut. Liz, who cut my hair was a delight and I plan to have her do my next cut as well. I highly recommend this location and especially Liz!

Working in the hospitality industry, I can confidently say this place defines true hospitality. Special thanks to Jen, who did an amazing job on my hair. I am thrilled that it only took one visit to find a place that cuts my hair exactly the way I like it. I will definitely be back! I’m new to the area and needed a haircut. I stumbled across this place. OMG! From the minute I walked in the door I felt right at home. My barber Kay was extremely sweet and incredibly funny! Talking with Kay alone was worth the price of the haircut. I’ll definitely be back here in the future. Who knew that a haircut could be so much fun!
