I have been getting my blonde hair highlighted for over 30 years at almost every “prestigious” salon in Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Healdsburg, Novato, Bel Marin Keys/ Marin and Mill Valley etc. With that said, I can honestly say that since getting my hair done at Leading Edge salon my hair has been the healthiest and most beautiful blonde I’ve ever had in comparison to every salon I’ve previously been to. I cannot recommend Leading Edge Salon enough for the perfect blonde color/ highlights, the 5 star + amazing service that goes above and beyond in making me feel extra special, pampered, genuinely cared for with compassion leaving me feeling comfortable and relaxed (important for me bc I have various issues & physical needs) , the free goodies snacks and drinks coffee etc and I also love how spacious the salon is, how clean and open and welcoming and pretty the salon is. Alexa is my stylist. I love her calm and cool energy always putting me first no matter what she has going on, always on time and dependable and reliable and most importantly I love how great of a job she does with my hair and achieving my perfect blonde…and bonus points for being such a great listener, caring and compassionate person and being multitalented as an artist. Highly recommend!

Jensen is a fairly new stylist at leading edge and I’ll never chose anyone else now. I went in with hay like dry hair and came out with soft amazing hair. I’ve seen her twice so far and she’s my favorite stylist. She’s fun, super nice and always accurate.

I walked in after a double mastectomy as I was unable to do my own hair & was most definitely due for a cut & style. Alexa was absolutely amazing & understanding of my situation. She made me feel so comfortable and most importantly beautiful which has been hard for me to feel lately. I left feeling confident again! I will most definitely be back & I urge anyone else to as well! Thank you Alexa!!!

Michele did a great job 6/20/25 choosing the rgt color & doing my highlights, I love it! Also she did the cut 5/27/25 better than anyone did in my 60 yrs of going to stylists. My thin straight hair has always been a problem for me, till now. Thanks so much Michele. Very pleasant atmosphere at Leading Edge, great receptionist at front desk.

Excellent staff, ambiance, and overall experience! I love my balayage so much. I was nervous as this was my first time at this salon but I was immediately put at ease from the moment I walked in. My hairstylist, Natalia, is amazing! She's warm, professional, and good at what she does. I'm so happy I found such a great salon and stylist! Will definitely be back for all my hair needs.
