I came in for a cut at Shibui today after many years away and I’m so glad I did. I’m three weeks from giving birth and was feeling pretty tired and vulnerable, so the thought of a bad haircut felt huge. I booked with James not knowing anyone, and he took the most beautiful care of me. He was gentle, kind, and instantly put me at ease. I didn’t have much direction to give, but he just got it and did a gorgeous job. The space and vibe are lovely, relaxed and welcoming. What was a small appointment for him made a big difference to me. Thank you, James — I can’t wait to come back once bubs arrives.

I had a great curly cut experience with Jasper. I was nervous getting curly cut, Jasper talked through his process and listened to concerns. He gave me great tips in maintaining curls and keep them healthy. Highly recommended Jasper and Shibui team 🙌✨

Ashan is a great hairdresser who really listens and understands what her customers want, and delivers exactly that. She cut my 9-year-old son’s hair today and took on board my request for a softer fringe, happily adjusting it. I also really appreciate how she chats with kids and makes them feel comfortable, treating them kindly and offering them a drink. This is the third time she’s cut Hugo’s hair, and we’ve been very happy every time. Highly recommend.

I had the absolute best experience with James Annabel. From the moment I sat down, he made me feel so comfortable. Amazing energy, great chats, and such a genuinely lovely person. James is incredibly knowledgeable and talented, especially when it comes to curly hair. He recommended a French bob, and he absolutely nailed it. The cut is stylish, effortless, and suits my hair perfectly, one of those haircuts that makes you feel instantly more confident the moment you walk out. James made the whole experience fun. It never felt rushed, and you can really tell how much he cares about his craft and his clients. I’m already looking forward to my next haircut. Thank you so much, truly amazing ✨
