I had a pretty good experience, my braider was Antonia. I got there around 6:45 but she didn't get there until about 830 but I was fine with waiting. I do believe they prefer a specific type of hair (xpression) but I brought a different kind as I want aware. I did catch two women laughing about the hair when Antonia asked for a brush to comb it out a bit. Regardless of how the two ladies laughed, she still used the hair and did a great job. I also recommend if youre like me and get cold easily that u wear a seat suit and take a blanket along with u because its was freezing in there. Antonia was engaging with me which I didn't see that out of a lot of the braiders, they would just be braiding. I will definitely return and do my best to keep the same braider as her work was neat and I don't do well with many people in my head. I did originally ask for my hair to be bra strap length but it came out almost butt length but that is fine because it may have had a lot to do with the hair I purchased which was 26" hair. Nonetheless, again my hair turned out great, I'm pleased with the service, and I'll be back! Thank you again Antonia, I really like how my hair turned out and I am getting a lot of complements

We had a great experience at $100 Braids in Dallas. This was my daughter’s first time getting her hair braided in a shop, and everything went smoothly. The pricing was very reasonable, the service was quick, and the shop had a clean, professional, and welcoming atmosphere. I was especially impressed with how the owner handled a customer concern with poise and grace—it really showed the level of professionalism and care for clients. We’re very happy with the results and will definitely be returning!

Started off with a misunderstanding on my end. The owner Kay was completely understanding and was able to still get my daughter in. She also had her stylist walk over to the supply store with me for extensions needed for my daughter’s hair. This was our first time here and everyone was so nice and patient. Her hair turned out amazing ! Were very happy customers and will be returning

Thank goodness for walk-in services — I love, love my hair! 💕 For this boho look, make sure you get the Empire brand 100% human hair. They provide the braiding hair, but you’ll need to bring your own curly boho hair. There’s a hair store within walking distance, which makes it super convenient. I have shaved sides and back, so I only needed one pack (2 bundles). Helpful tips: • “$100 Braids” is just the name of the shop — prices vary. • Bring cash to avoid card fees. • Get there very early to be seated with the first available stylist. It’s first come, first served and there are no appointments. There may already be a line before they open, so bring a folding chair and a book just in case. If you arrive later, you’ll be placed on a waitlist, which can take a few hours before you’re seated. You might notice people who walk in after you getting seated first — that’s because they were already on the waitlist and were called back when it was their turn. My stylist was patient, detailed, and informative — truly experienced, with a soft aura and gentle hands. I’ll definitely be back 💕✨
