I guess I haven't left a review yet, Between Omar and now Sam, the level of professionalism and the care they have taken has made me a barber man for sure! This is so much better to have a barber to schedule with that knows your cut over the ever revolving door that is the world of great clips types of places! Any Barber in this shop is dedicated to their craft and it is truly the most enjoyable experience as a man!

Great experience from start to finish. The shop is clean, welcoming, and runs right on time. The barber paid attention to every detail and gave me one of the best cuts I’ve had in years. Great atmosphere, and top-tier skill. Highly recommend — I’ll definitely be back!

Both my son and my husband get their haircuts here, and we couldn’t recommend this place more. Not only do they consistently leave looking great, but they genuinely enjoy the entire experience. The staff is friendly, patient, and clearly takes pride in their work, which makes every visit relaxed and enjoyable. It’s rare to find a place that delivers both excellent results and a great atmosphere, but this one does exactly that. We’ll definitely keep coming back.

Hani did a fantastic job with my teen son!! Where we live (stationed at Maxwell AFB), that area really lacks a good sharp haircut from a true barber for my son’s hair type. Both my husband & son have tried so many barbers and they just don’t seem to know how to cut their hair in the Montgomery area 🫤 other than Nayo’s off Pike Road, they are rare to find near Montgomery. Unfortunately the past 2 months, Nayo’s became a little more relaxed about my son’s haircuts where he wasn’t happy with the look and we needed a sharper clean cut look again. We were nervous trying a new place all over again after so many failed attempts elsewhere as bad experiences often ended in near tears for my son as he would be so embarrassed…. I hoped that by driving all the way to Birmingham, that this location was worth a try as a lot of the photos had kids and teens, with my son’s hair texture & color, and they looked great! SO glad we gave this place a try - Hani did a FANTASTIC job!!! He did a much needed wash for my son’s hair that seems more oily during puberty, this is so nice to have the wash as an option! Hani listened very well and looked at the photos we had and did the exact cut we wanted - I cannot even put into words how grateful and relieved I am to finally find a trusted barber for my teen!! Well worth the just over 2 hour round trip drive for us, thank you SO much!! We will be back in just a couple weeks! Oh and the shop is incredibly clean, comfortable, upscale and very professionally maintained.

I’ve been going to 119 Barber for close to two years now, and I couldn’t recommend them more. I originally found them because they were one of the only places in town open on Sundays—and that turned out to be a great find. I’ve been seeing Sam since my very first visit. At the time, I had been going to the same hairstylist for most of my life and honestly had no idea how to explain what I wanted, especially since I was ready to try something different. Sam took the time to work with me, asked the right questions, and helped me land on a haircut that actually fit me. Two years later, I’m still going to him—he remembers me every time, and we’ve built a great relationship. The shop itself is clean, professional, and has a classy, high-end feel the moment you walk in. Everyone there is friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. I really like that you can schedule haircuts in advance, but it’s also nice knowing you can walk in if needed (though they do get busy, so booking ahead is smart). Prices are fair and reasonable for the quality you’re getting. I recommend 119 Barber to anyone looking for a new barber or a place they can trust long-term.
