Have been going to AD for a couple years now. They have always done an excellent job. Walk-ins can be a bit of a wait but well worth it if you have to. I recommend making an appointment for efficiency. Hot towel, shave, great cut, nice staff. Extremely professional and easily the best barber shop in Dayton. New location in centerville is also super convenient.

Let's be honest...one of the seldom discussed nuances of moving every few years with the military is finding a barber you're comfortable with. I always joke that "the raw materials with which they're starting aren't great", but still I have had some horrible hair cuts over the last 3+ decades. Got here to Dayton in 2019 and found A&D through a friend who recommended Asiya. For the first two years I had a standing appointment every other Saturday morning with her when they opened. The atmosphere is bright and clean, the staff is friendly and the quality of service is phenomenal. Got my son and I the VIP treatment the day before my retirement (one last shave!). Have continued to visit Asiya every two weeks even since retirement and having moved south of the base; now she gets to add a beard trim to the routine. So excited they've opened a new shop off Alex Bell in Centerville...close to home, but the same look and feel of their shop near the base. Asiya and Eldar gave me a warm smile and welcomed me for my first cut at the new location, and I'll obviously stay a regular there now!
