Have had both Stella and JDs work done, both are amazing artist and know how to put in a solid lasting line. Have had smaller pieces done by both, and JD is in the middle of a back piece, an original design of his. Super relax atmosphere, will give you good advice and won’t just tattoo whatever to get money. They care about their art/profession and about you. Very fairly priced for the quality you get. This business in a nutshell: old school in all the right ways while also being super progressive. 10/10 recommend.

My husband I visited The Abyss on our first day in town. They were full for the day, but Brittany was super sweet and put us on the waiting list and said she would call later. We visited two other shops to see what their availability was for the day but the vibes were not great in either shop so we waited to hear from Brittany. We got scheduled for the next day and had an amazing experience! JD did a great job on my husband’s koi fish and blended it with his existing tattoo beautifully. Stella took my floral idea and knocked it out of the park! The line work and shading is phenomenal! Highly recommend this shop if you are looking for a friendly, fun tattoo experience in Eureka Springs!

Man, my wife and I stopped here spontaneously and it may have been one of the best decisions we've ever made while ever down here in Eureka. Truly some of the greatest artists I've seen around and some of the most welcoming tattoo artist I've met. Alot of times when I go get a piece done, its in and out. NGL I could have stayed and just talked for another hour about art alone. Truly a great time. Izzy did a magnificent job on my Michael myers mask. Stella did an incredible job on my wife's cat skull and JD gave me some GREAT insight on teaching my art class. I can say we made some friends today and will definitely be returning. ☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

Stella did a fantastic job and I'll definitely be back for more ink later! Very clean shop and great people!

My husband and I were in Eureka for our 10 year anniversary and we spontaneously decided to walk in and get some tattoos! We decided to be funny and do the $80 get what you get tattoos out of the dispenser! JD was stoked which made us stoked lol! The vibes were top tier and we had good conversation with everyone in the shop! And honestly I wasn’t expecting much since it was just an $80 tattoo but JD did a killer job and gave us a great quality tattoo! It was definitely one of our favorite experiences and memory made while we were there visiting! We will definitely go back whenever we make our way back to Eureka! Hell I’d probably even drive the 3 hours just to get tatted!
