We never quibble about spending money on a special outfit, shoes, tickets to a show or dinner in a highly recommended restaurant yet we often try bargain basement salons for beauty treatments or hair cuts. Finally at the age of 70 plus l decided l need to spoil myself visiting a salon l can trust to deliver a hair cut that suits my face shape, flatters my personality and is easy to maintain. Rachel did a fantastic rescue job on my very dry, grown out lack lustre bob. I felt very drab when l arrived and exited with a huge smile on my face which you might not be able to see in the reflected images in my photos but it was definitely there. Adam and all his staff have a level of professional expertise, attention to detail and awareness of customer care that is extremely rare in this era of weary franchising and fast everything shopping. Our hair is an expression of who we are day to day and want to be on special occasions. I highly recommend Adam & Potsie over any other local salon where you can pamper yourself with an amazing makeover in comfortable surroundings, feel warm, welcome and enjoy a proper cup of tea as your split ends hit the floor. Adam & Potsies certificates on the wall bear witness to just how good they are..Customers love them plus they have developed their own range of hair products. It's conveniently located within easy reach of Ravenscourt Station, and various bus routes from Chiswick and Hammersmith. Ravenscourt park entrance is only a few yards away where you can enjoy telling everyone in the lovely cafe there that the best hairdresser in west london is responsible for your beautiful cut and treatment.

I am a customer of Adam Potsie, since 3 years. I always go there for colour, as I trust the way they work and the products they use. They are very professional and I am always happy for the way they do my hair. They are precise and have attention to detail. They are very nice and I really recommend them as hairdressers.

I've just walked out of this salon where I've received truly exceptional service from Rachel, who did my colour for the first time, something I was a bit nervous about, having gone to a different salon on the other side of town for many years and only just moved to the area. She gave me excellent highlights and was very reassuring all throughout. And then I asked for a fringe trim and got chatting with the owner, Adam, who ended up giving my hair a little trim all over, and he was lovely ☺️ Anyway, needless to say, I will definitely be returning and I'm excited and relieved to have discovered this amazing new salon in my new neighbourhood!

Adam is golden - he cut my husband’s hair for years when we used to live in London and he was always happy. Next time I need a cut I’ll go to him and he is very experienced and gave me great about realistic options for my hair and face shape. I was happy to come back to his and Potsie’s salon after a period abroad. Since Potsie now only works Saturdays I booked with Rachel for colour and was very happy, she is experienced and efficient and has a relaxing vibe.

After a few continuous bad hair cuts in the last year, one of them being a regular I saw back in America, I was hesitant and anxious to be in another country. The atmosphere was warm and cozy; Maisie was absolutely lovely. I wrote a message prior to the appointment describing my anxiety and hinted that all I wanted was a shaggy cut for my long overdue shapeless hair. She spoke with me, got to the root of my fears- my past hairdressers cutting more and more hair than I'd wanted despite saying to keep as much of the length as possible, and one other telling me she wasn't going to give me layers despite my telling her that's what I wanted and get most of the time for my curly hair. Maisie warned me I couldn't get the picture reference exactly, which I knew due to having shaved part of my head the years before, which meant it would be asymmetrical and that was perfectly fine. The process was rather quick (and painless! (: ), the little chatter was sweet and didn't feel forced, I felt very comfortable and at ease. As for my hair, it's turned out spectacular and I absolutely love my hair and feel like myself again. Thank you Maisie! Can't wait to move here and see you again! The reference I showed and what I got! I adore it and can't wait for it to keep growing to get the final product.
