About Advent Tattoo Studio & Art Gallery
Because the team combines traditional tattooing techniques with artistic curation, visitors experience more than just body art at Advent Tattoo Studio & Art Gallery. They offer custom ink sessions alongside rotating art exhibitions, creating a dual-purpose space in Katy where clients can engage with visual creativity before or after their appointments. The process is structured around precision; because appointments are mandatory, clients often arrive with a clear design vision, allowing the artists to execute detailed work without the pressure of a crowded waiting room.
Because the staff prioritizes technical skill over high-volume turnover, the atmosphere remains calm and focused. The studio’s hybrid model means clients might browse finished pieces on the walls while their ink heals, reinforcing a connection to the broader art community. This integration of gallery aesthetics with tattoo services distinguishes them from standard parlors in the area. With a 4.5-star rating from 119 reviews, the business has established reliability through consistent craftsmanship. Their approachable yet professional demeanor ensures that both first-timers and seasoned collectors feel comfortable navigating the customization process, ultimately resulting in a personalized experience that aligns with the client’s specific artistic preferences.

Cara Lee is an amazing artist. Would definitely recommend her. The shop itself was very clean, comfortable, and not too loud. Very open space with awesome artwork on the walls as well as on people.

Mili was the nicest artist to work with, ever! She was very kind and accommodating the whole time! Can’t wait to come back! We were able to get everything we needed with no issues and the results were incredible!
Brett Brandon — 5/5 (via Google)
Mike Ashworth does amazing work. Although my style wasn't his usual work, he worked with me to get a great traditional American piece. The aftercare instructions made sure I had almost zero scabbing. I will absolutely be back!
Dante R — 5/5 (via Google)
Have gone to Karla and David while they were in Utah. Can't be more impressed by their expertise, style, knowledge, and ability to remain professional while at work. About 90% of my tattoos were done by Karla alone. Can't recommend them enough. If you're looking for great professionals with the experience to get all your tattoo needs done. Look mo further than David and Karla.
