I booked a curly perm and from the time of booking to my treatment it was all a really smooth, professional and lovely experience. My appointment was with Harriet who was really kind, patient and done a thorough consultation with me with a clear plan of action - which is great because i was well informed as I am quite sensitive to my hair. She also took images to track my progress which i thought was a great and not something I have had at other salons. All the other ladies at the salon were also very friendly. I am very happy with my hair and only wish I had started my journey with Afrotherapy sooner and reccomended to others too. Thank you Harriet!

I had a great experience at Afrotherapy Salon. The team were incredibly professional, welcoming and knowledgeable. They took the time to talk me through my hair, explain what it needs, and gave me really helpful advice on how to properly care for it and support healthy growth. You can tell they genuinely understand natural hair and know exactly what they’re talking about. I left not only happy with my hair, but also feeling much more informed about how to look after it. Such a professional and positive experience. Highly recommend!

First time visiting Afrotherapy salon, after it came highly recommended by my best friend, when I got to my appointment, the staff there was very friendly and welcoming, making me feel very comfortable and relaxed after confirming my appointment. They got started straight away with my treatment, my stylist Solange was so nice, very knowledgeable and professional, she took great care with my hair and made great suggestions, communication with me throughout the appointment to make sure I was happy and comfortable with my style to achieve the desired outcome, I left feeling very satisfied and happy with my entire experience. And to the other stylists whose name I did not catch, thank you for the care and gentleness when washing my hair and thanks for the advice. Overall I’d give my experience 10/10

Visited Afrotherapy for the first time today and I enjoyed it! Got a treatment, trim and silk press done by the lovely Solange. I’m a bit hesitant about doing anything to my hair that’s not braids/protective styles but I was in good hands. The service was nothing short of amazing, Solange talked me through the step by step process for each part of my service. I was served a cup of tea too! I had a virtual consultation prior to my appointment and I received great hair care advice. I will definitely be coming back, THANK YOU!

I had the most amazing experience at Afro Therapy Salon. As someone with 4C hair, I’m always very particular about who I trust with my crown — and they absolutely exceeded my expectations. From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and professional. Harriet really took the time to understand my hair, and make sure I was comfortable every step of the way. I had a texture release done, and a Bob hairstyle! My hair feels so soft, silky, and still full of life. What I loved most was how knowledgeable and gentle they were with my hair. You can tell they truly understand and celebrate natural hair in all its textures. No rushing, no cutting corners — just genuine care and expertise. If you have 4C hair and are considering a texture release or simply want a salon that truly knows what they’re doing, I cannot recommend Afro Therapy Salon enough. Professional, attentive, and absolutely worth it. I walked out feeling confident, pampered, and completely in love with my hair! 10/10 experience ✨
