I heard it from Instagram! Honestly love the vibe and all the people there have their own talents. I got Zar! And I'm so happy I did. I came in during their full moon special. I love what I got. And honestly worth every dollar. Best lining. Best shading. I love my new tattoo.

I’ve gotten two tattoos from Altar so far and all I gotta say is IM IN LOVVVEEEEE. Go on and get yourself a quality tattoo from their friendly and TALENTED artists asap. Between the monthly flashes, positive atmosphere, reasonable pricing, and clean practices. There’s really nothing stopping you from hitting up the Altar family for your next beautiful permanent piece.

Great shop. Staff are professional and very welcoming. They really thought of customer care and safety. Ilona did amazing work and I’m beyond happy with my tattoo. She took the time to hear my ideas and ensured I was happy with artwork. I’ve received a lot of compliments on her work. Was thorough on aftercare and answered any question I had. Will be returning.

Altar Tattoo Studio has provided excellent service since I’ve been going there. Ilona is an amazing owner. She cares about every client, whether you are getting a flash tattoo deal or a personal tattoo. I’ve also gotten work done with Angel and Anna, both were very accommodating and did a great job with my small pieces. Their studio has great vibes, while going above and beyond for anyone they tattoo. If you want to feel at home and want artists who truly care about you as people, then don’t hesitate to give this shop a visit!
Walter Nesbitt — 5/5 (via Google)
I've been tattood 3 times at Altar. Once by Angel, once by Anna, and once by Ilona. Every time I have went I've had a wonderful and welcoming experience. Good music, good people, snacks and drinks, and great tattoo work. Angel did the "Be known" tattoo, he was very gentle and good with lines and little details. Anna did my red fish and made it look as though it was originally apart of the bigger red tattoo. Ilona did my chest/stomach piece and it was a great time talking with her and her artists while I sat there in pain. She payed great attention to detail, and I gave her creative freedom to help create this piece- we started with one idea and went in an entirely different direction, a direction I am pleased with. Everyone in this shop is so lovely and does great work, and I'm excited to get more tattoos from here over the years!
