First, the music is on point. And everyone there is just so chill and friendly. Big shoutout to Heather, my tattoo artist, for doing such an amazing job—she absolutely crushed it. What I really appreciated about working with her was how she recognized that not everyone wants to chat while getting tatted. I've had artists who love to talk, which is cool, but as someone who does a great deal of talking at my job and wrangles a household of loud and wild children, sometimes I just need to zone out and not feel like I have to interact. Heather got that right away and kept it low-key; she checked with me on my comfort and tattoo placement, and that was it. Perfect. I look forward to coming back for my next tattoo.
