Customer Reviews for Altered State Tattoo
Kayla — 5/5 (via Google)
I had an amazing experience with Dean at Altered State Tattoo. From start to finish, everything was handled with professionalism, creativity, and genuine care. Dean took the time to really listen to my ideas and made sure the design reflected exactly what I envisioned — while also adding his own artistic touch to elevate it. His attention to detail and precision are incredible. The line work is clean, the shading is smooth, and the overall piece flows beautifully. You can tell he takes real pride in his craft. The studio environment at Altered State Tattoo is clean, welcoming, and comfortable, which made the entire experience even better. What I appreciated most was how patient and attentive Dean was throughout the session. He checked in regularly to make sure I was comfortable and happy with every step of the process. That level of care really stands out. I’m beyond happy with how my tattoo turned out and have already received so many compliments. If you’re looking for a talented, professional artist who truly cares about their clients, I highly recommend Dean at Altered State Tattoo. I’ll definitely be back for my next piece.

So to start off if im being completely honest my review may be just a little biased considering that Pooch and i went to school together starting in middle school and going thru high school(well until i quit after 10th grade lol)... But regardless this shop is THE BEST in Palm Beach County, maybe even Florida, hell maybe even in the WORLD...but i digress(i did say i may be biased) Pooch and Scott are class acts and Dean who ive met twice was very cool. Since i live in Texas now i havent had the opportunity to meet the other artists in the shop but i can almost guarantee theyd be of the same "ilk" so to speak of the artists i mentioned earlier. Okay so with all that being said... About my tattoo experience at Altered State Tattoo... Pooch has sleeved my left arm and most recently the back of my right forearm AS WELL as my entire backpiece(pics below) ..i trust him to do what he thinks would give me the best piece as far as content, size , and placement plus hes just a killer artist(Go in and see his paintings on the walls and see for yourself)... Scotty ive known since he started in the shop on dixie hwy by the spillway and he covered up a tattoo done by a lesser skilled artist and gave me a piece with teeth(pics below) lmfao....so my review is obviously 5 stars be it biased or whatever... its a factual review based on artistry, atmosphere, price and convenience (thanks for letting me have 3 hrs on your day off pooch).SO If you are considering putting a piece of art on your body you definitely cant go wrong at ALTERED STATE TATTOO

Rick hooked us up this Saturday! 🔥 4 girls, 4 bangers, and we’re all beyond happy with how they turned out. The line work is clean and the experience was awesome from start to finish. Ive been going to Altered State for about 5 years now and I have yet to be disappointed by any art work I’ve gotten from Rick Donovan. I recommend him to anyone that asks and I know the other artists in the shop are just as talented. I will continue to visit as often as my paycheck allows!
