American tattoo society at Travis AFB is absolutely one of the coolest shops. I’ve always wanted a tattoo and never really had the time to go off base to get one. When I came in for the first time it was like walking into your own home. Between the counter staff and the artists it’s a dope vibe! One of the receptionists, Zoe was a great help especially helping me figure out what I wanted! Zoe is also very charismatic. Since about may I’ve had 4 different tattoos from Ryan Eternal who Is a traveling artist! He does amazing work and Erick Lemereis which is the permanent artist he also does really amazing work! 100/100 would recommend coming whether it’s your first tattoo or your 30th! I’ve always felt very welcome and like I was apart of their family! Come down to Travis AFB to get a tattoo!

Great experience. Received my first tattoo here and they were able to answer all my questions before pushing forward on size and exact placement. My Artist Erick did a great job and had questions he was able to answer them. The Saniderm they used and put on the tattoo has helped out the healing process so much. Love these guys and gals and will go back for the next one. Just got the tattoo done 11/2/23 and the picture is of it just completed.

Ryan eternal was amazing, his art style was great and he worked with me to make sure the tatto was exactly what i wanted, he was super professional and made sure I was comfortable through the whole experience, the staff was absolutely wonderful and made sure I had plenty of water and snacks. It was an overall great experience and I'll definitely be coming back for another!

There aren’t enough words I can think of to express my gratitude to my artist Justin Cox. He is the best artist I have personally ever been to, and I wouldn’t want any other artist tattooing me besides him, he is my absolute favorite. I’ve been wanting to work on this sleeve for many years and he brought my vision to life and the artwork is beyond amazing, I get so MANY compliments and people asking who did my work. I CANNOT recommend this place enough! Please everyone who is considering getting any work done at this just do it you will not be disappointed! So at first I was a bit sketched out with a tattoo shop on base as I’ve never encountered that before but, my good friend went and got a tattoo and really loved the service and work. So I of course end up booking with “Whisper” as that sounded cool as heck. I have gotten three pieces here, the prices are always a steal and it’s by the piece not hour that’s awesome in my opinion. The customer service is always on point. The staff members are always helpful and a joy to be around. I appreciate the courtesy call after getting a tattoo done and I love if I have any issues I can go back to them. Anyways! So Whisper is the tattoo artist I have been going to, he is very creative especially if you are open to something new. He is always punctual, patient, and amazing at his craft. I’d highly recommend checking out more of his work via Instagram tattoos.by.whisper The pictures don’t do his work justice >:3 1billion/10 recommend this place.
