They offer custom design services where clients collaborate closely with artists to finalize concepts before any needle touches skin. The studio provides onsite services, ensuring that every aspect of the process, from sketching to aftercare, happens within their secure, wheelchair accessible environment. Clients arrive during their open hours, typically 11 AM to 5 PM on Mon–Wed, Fri, and Sat, to review portfolios and discuss placement. The team maintains a steady pace, allowing space for questions about pain management or healing timelines. This deliberate approach helps first-timers feel prepared and repeat visitors feel respected for their time. It is a top-rated Tattoo shop in Nelsonville, largely because they listen before they ink.
The business has built trust through consistent execution rather than flashy marketing. Their 4.9 rating across 40 reviews reflects a community that values their reliability and adherence to health standards. Frequently Asked Questions About Art of the Hills
How do I contact Art of the Hills in Nelsonville?
- Potential clients should reach out via phone or social media channels listed on their profile to initiate a consultation. The studio operates Monday through Wednesday and Friday and Saturday from 11 AM to 5 PM, so calls during those windows are most likely to be answered. They recommend scheduling appointments ahead of time rather than walking in, ensuring artists are available for the desired design complexity.
Can I see examples of your work?
- Most tattoo studios, including this one, maintain a portfolio of previous work that is usually accessible via their online profiles or in-studio during consultations. Artists at Art of the Hills typically share images of healed tattoos to show how designs look after the skin has settled. It is helpful to ask specific artists for examples related to the style you are considering, as portfolios may vary by individual.
How much do your services typically cost?
- Pricing generally ranges based on the specific service chosen, with factors like size, color usage, and placement influencing the final quote.
