One of the best braiding shops here in San Antonio! I'm from Atlanta, GA and when it comes to braiding, I look for a good braider that does very neat and good work with a welcoming atmosphere and good spirit. I found all those things in this shop. I got some box braids done and I don't get my hair braided all the time, but it was worth it. I even paid a little extra because of how good my hair looked! Even when I needed a few braids fixed, she didn't hesitate at all to take care of it! I got my hair from Amazon but she used all but one pack and it came out nice. I have traction alopecia and she made it work. Even though I didn't think it can be done because of how my hair is, she did it! Very happy! I will be returning. 💚

*P.S. pics are a week old, forgot to take some when it was fresh and I just left the pool 😬 but look how good it still looks! I was surprised at how quick this was done in roughly 6 hours; another stylist helped briefly but it was mostly either one in my head at a time, great timing for this style! I called a week ahead to get extra details. Overall I gave 4 stars because booking on the site doesn't allow for true pricing; you couldn't choose the size or even the boho which is why I called ahead to confirm since I'd figure it'd be a little more. My appt was pushed up, which I agreed to but it seems they forgot? I couldn't really tell on the phone call I got shortly before the appt started and it was never changed on the appt in Booksy so maybe they did; they were just a few minutes late. Then afterwards when I was confirming the price, it's like I couldn't tell if it was correct or not because she didn't say yes or no? Lol makes me wonder if they're telling people different prices... All in all, I would go back as the style and technique is great. If the logistics were ironed out, it'd be perfect. Oh, the owner highly recommended human hair for the wavy and she was absolutely on point! They have the braiding hair, you just have to buy whatever wavy you want separately; one pack is good enough.

I have been going to Ashley's for over 2 years now and every time I leave with an amazing new look. My ultimate goal is to get my Locs and the Box Braids I get allow my hair to grow more. They look amazing and I get compliments everywhere I go from the style to the length. Years of experience and it shows in her work. Absolutely amazing.
