5 stars Barber Side is one of the best shops in San Diego. I always go to Mario — super skilled, respectful, and consistent. I haven’t tried the other barbers yet, but every time I’m there I see people walking out happy. The whole team is solid. They work late, they’re polite, they offer water, and they really care. Even if they’re tired or not feeling great, they still show up and get the job done. You can rely on them. Professional, humble, and real. Much respect. I go to Mario. Honest dude, sharp hands. One of the best barbers I’ve had.

first off, I went as a walk in. 1. they were quick. 2. service was great, and made sure you got taken care of, offered drinks, chatted with you to make you feel welcomed. 3. my cut was on point, they got the experience in that shop to knock out anything you want. definitely worth coming here!

Barbers are excellent at work! Got a really good fade going for myself, very lite on the pockets too. Would have given 5 stars if not for the for the long wait times. You have to physically sign-in in a sheet, no over the call appointments. But good thing is its open till midnight.

I had to find a new barber as I just moved into the area. I took a leap of faith and came here hoping to find a good barber. The fact they were open late really made it one of my only options given my work schedule. I walked and Mario attended me as a walk in. Mario listened to my hair requests really well and did a fantastic job with my hair despite it being his first time cutting my hair. I say that because people struggle with my hair wether it’s the first or twentieth time they cut my hair. Needless to say, this place is now my home barber shop. Give it a shot. They are great. They also use an app to setup your appointment which make it super convenient. Highly recommend Barber Side.
