I had such a fantastic experience at Barberino’s in New York. I originally walked in planning to spend about 30 minutes or so, and ended up staying for an hour and a half without even noticing the time. From the moment I entered, it truly felt like stepping into Italy right on Madison Avenue. I was offered an espresso coffee, had a warm and genuine conversation, and even had the pleasure of listening to Ornella Vanoni and Lucio Dalla while getting my haircut. It was not just a haircut, it was an experience. Pietro was my barber and he was exceptional. He worked entirely with scissors, old-school style, with incredible precision and care. The result was one of the best haircuts I have had in New York. He also trimmed my beard perfectly and finished with a relaxing face massage that made the whole visit feel like proper Italian grooming at its finest. It genuinely felt like authentic Italian treatment in the heart of Manhattan: elegant, attentive, and personal. I highly recommend Barberino’s, I will definitely be back. Grazie!
