Had an amazing experience at Barbers Edge in Abacoa! Chris V is a new barber there and he absolutely delivered a 5-star haircut and overall experience. He took his time, paid attention to every detail, and made sure everything was exactly how I wanted it. Super professional, friendly, and clearly takes pride in his work. Joe at Barbers Edge is truly an amazing human. I brought my son, who is on the spectrum, in for his first real haircut at a barber shop, and Joe was incredibly kind and gentle throughout the entire process. He even opens his shop on Sundays for quiet sessions, which made such a difference for us. We honestly couldn’t have had a better experience. We will definitely be back to see him! 1000% recommend. 😊

After moving to town a year ago, my 13-year-old son, who has curly hair, struggled to find someone who could give him a consistent cut he truly liked. When I posted on social media asking for recommendations again, the owner Joe personally reached out and offered to fit him in the very next day, which already spoke volumes. What we walked into felt like more than just a barber shop, it felt like a true community. Guys were coming and going, laughing, talking, and making everyone feel welcome. Joe took the time to really listen to what my son wanted. He worked slowly and intentionally, checking in often to make sure my son felt good about each step along the way. The final result was exactly what my son had hoped for, but honestly, he gained more than just a great haircut. He walked in as a stranger and walked out feeling confident and like he belonged. We’re so grateful to have finally found a place that truly gets it.

this place was referred to me by a good friend. He recommended Joe but said everyone is capable. I made an appointment with Joe and got right in the next day. Not knowing what to expect. I was a bit early for an appointment at 8:30 AM on a Saturday. I open the door and the place was hustling. I thought I was in a nightclub. It was pretty cool. I love the camouflage capes over the customers. Being ex military, It kind of made me feel comfortable. Joe took me within minutes and immediately started a great conversation. I can’t say enough about this person and I have never met someone with such good character after a five minute conversation Joe was amazing. An amazing person and amazing friend already after a few minutes of meeting. Far from being boastful just friendly. After our conversation for about a half hour I knew I was hooked on this place and I will be a lifelong customer thank you Joe and barber’s Edge for your generosity to everyone. Things you do for special needs children and the needy is amazing. I often tell my children to be the reason someone smiles today. Joe made me smile. thank you, Joe. See you in a few weeks.

Absolutely loveee this place!!! Joe and his staff made us feel welcomed 😭 even his dog . 🥰 Loved that he had the patience for my son. Hes on the Spectrum . He was very nice to him. He made him feel comfortable. Talked to him the whole time made him aware of what was going on . Distracted him with a lollipop and toys .He did a while hair cut in less than 20 min . Not 1 hour and half like other places i been 😕Usually he would be screaming since hes sensitive to the machines and scissors or even putting the cape around his neck. Thats a no no ! For the first time I felt i was able to breathe and relax after so many horrible experiences . My boy was happy and of course i am soo happy with this place and joe! They are totally worth the 40 min drive!!!
