Was our first time coming here drove all the way from La Jolla to get my teenage son’s hair trimmed & lined up because we saw such great reviews for this establishment. Fortunately all the positive reviews were correct & spot on. Mitch was friendly welcoming & professional. He took his time was deliberate & precise w/ his trimmer did an excellent job cleaning up my son’s unkempt fade. It was so worth the drive inland; we will be returning here again for the next haircut/trim.

He took the time to get to know us and what we were looking for in a cut, ultimately executing a creation of his own that we loved. Really impressed by his patience and dedication to delivering an exceptionally clean, stylish cut for my child. Definitely has a way with kids, able to put them at ease quickly and keep them engaged through the process. You can tell he takes great pride and time in his craft. Big Mitch has been cutting my hair for over a year. I get my hair cut weekly and he is incredibly easy to hook with using his website, despite his incredible busy schedule he always finds a way to get you in and be on time. His new shop "Cuttin Edge" is in a great location, clean and great environment with all the barbers in the shop. He has been able to perfect my haircut very quickly, to the point where I walk in and I don't have to say anything he already knows what I want. But today I wanted something different, he took the time to talk with me and discuss my options to find what would look best on me. Big Mitch started as my barber but has become a friend. Everyone should book with Big Mitch.

He’s a great barber been going to him for a while but the only thing is you have to remind him even tho you told him at the beginning not to trim your beard. Multiple times I’ve told him not to trim and to only line it up even if patchy etc. he’ll forget and I would end up losing what little progress I achieved. It’s hard trying to grow a beard some of y’all get it , Besides that everything else it perfect and he’s a great person and has a great personality haircuts are 10/10.

I’ve been getting my haircut by big Mitch since i was in HS (over 10yrs) and i can honestly say even when he was just learning the ropes I’ve never been disappointed. His customer service and ability to connect with any and every customer that sits in his chair is something special. One of the best barbers and most humble barbers in San Diego. So if you’re looking for that one barber that’s consistent and will also give you a great experience, big Mitch is the guy!
