This is a great place. I had my first haircut here this week. I experienced a laid back atmosphere, welcoming, and friendly. Tanya did my conditioning treatment, and cut. So well done. I am very picky about symmetry, she was precision personified. Thank you Tanya!

Made a last minute same day appointment no problem. Raul was great! Im not the best at describing what I want and they saw my vision perfectly! Enjoyed a nice beer as well. Will definitely be my new go to spot!

I initially went to the Domain location, since I was in the area. It was around 3 pm and asked if they had any openings. I thought I could get in, as there was only one client in there and several stylists. I was told they didn't have any openings for the rest of the day, especially for long hair. I left and booked online with Mayra at the Burnet location. Mayra remembered me and how I like my hair cut, from my first visit with her. She did a great cut this time also. I will always book my appointments with Mayra or the other stylists at the Burnet location, as they are friendlier and more welcoming than the Domain location.

Birds Barbershop is always a great experience from start to finish. The front desk greets you with a genuine smile, and you can grab a drink while you wait—always a nice touch. Raven is phenomenal. She’s in high demand (so book early!) because she has an incredible ability to quickly size up what you need and deliver exactly the right cut. Her attention to detail is matched by her easy, engaging conversation—making the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. I haven’t had the chance to try other stylists at this location, but they’re always busy, which speaks to the overall quality of the team. Yes, the haircut is a bit on the expensive side, but the quality you get makes it worth it. My only wish is that their booking system allowed appointments further than two weeks out—it’d make snagging time with your favorite stylist a lot easier. Highly recommend Raven if you can get on her calendar!
