Had a fantastic experience at Black Lotus Tattoo. This was my first tattoo experience, getting memorial tattoos for a beloved dog and it was a really great experience. Everyone I spoke with throughout the process was extremely friendly and helpful. Jason, the artist I worked with, did a fantastic job both with the actual piece and walking me through the process as a newbie. The final pieces were beyond what I expected and the customer experience was great. The shop was also just really cool. Almost like an art gallery as much as a tattoo studio. I would recommend them to anyone.

Missy pierced my Conch/ear in late April and this was the best piercing experience I've ever had! I have 14 piercings and have experienced issues in the past (infection, pain, etc), but not once did I have a problem with this piercing - Missy is magical! The Black Lotus shop is pristine, clean and beautiful, like an art gallery offering tattoos and piercings. You can easily get lost in the ornate pieces around the shop. Missy is a true professional and so easy to engage with. She walks you through everything she's doing and explained the post-piercing process very well. I've had a few follow-ups to check on the piercing and it's always a joy to see her again. We've discussed adding another conch piercing above the current one once it's fully healed and I look forward to that! Thank you Black Lotus and Missy for such a positive piercing experience! You've got a customer for life!

I got my daith piercing done here and the experience was top-tier. I recently worked with Missy on my permanent, custom piece of jewelry and it turned out amazingly beautiful! Not only did she make sure the dimensions were perfect, but she's extremely knowledgeable and the jewelry change was seamless. Her studio space is warm and welcoming, just like her personality. I highly recommend Missy for anyone considering a daith!! She's an absolute joy to trust for your piercing needs!!!

I discovered Black Lotus Tattoo, Piercing, and Art Gallery last summer (2025) while doing a web search for a local piercing studio. Since then, I’ve been serviced by Ericka for three different piercings, and I have been consistently impressed and completely satisfied each time. Her knowledge of the craft, attention to detail, and excellent customer service make every experience comfortable and professional. I highly recommend Ericka Fries piercing services without hesitation. I also highly recommend Black Lotus Tattoo, Piercing, and Art Gallery to anyone in the Baltimore area—or to anyone visiting the city. While I haven’t personally had a tattoo done there yet, I’ve had the opportunity to view several of the artists’ portfolios, and their talent is truly outstanding.

Absolutely loved my experience at Black Lotus Tattoo Gallery—this place is something special. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and effortlessly cool. The shop really feels more like a beautiful art gallery than a tattoo studio, with stunning pieces on display that really show how much creativity and care go into everything they do. Missy and Erika, my piercers, are truly exceptional. They are knowledgeable and incredibly professional, taking the time to explain every step and making sure you feel completely comfortable. Their attention to detail and genuine care for their clients really stand out, and my results speak for themselves…a non-traumatic and subsequently well-healed piercing. The jewelry selection is next-level—BVLA pieces that are absolutely gorgeous, high-quality, and thoughtfully curated. You can tell Black Lotus prioritizes both aesthetics and craftsmanship, which makes the whole experience feel luxurious and intentional. On top of all that, the customer service is outstanding. Everyone is friendly, patient, and happy to answer questions, creating an environment where you feel respected and valued. Black Lotus Tattoo is the kind of place you’ll want to come back to again and again—not just for the incredible work, but for the overall experience. Highly, highly recommend. 🖤✨
