I got the knotless braids. I lovvvvvveeee my hair. The Braiders were so nice. There was a small issue which they immediately fixed. My daughter and I had been looking for a new place for braids and we found this shop on Facebook! I love the shop owner! The owner cares about her business, she’s personable, responsive and very professional. This will now be my daughter and I place to get our hair braided. The girl that fixed my issue was so nice. She wasn’t rude or acting a certain way because she had to fix my issue. She did it with professionalism. They wanted to make sure 100% satisfaction was served and it was!!! I will be back.

I absolutely love Blessed! After moving from NJ last year, this is my second visit and I'm so grateful to have found this salon. I called at 6:27 got to the shop at 7:10, my hair was started roughly around 7:25 and completed by 10:15 (dipped ends and video included). Beatrice did an amazing job on my small knotless braids—quick, professional, and beautiful results. Huge shoutout to her and the team. I’ll definitely be back!

Raven Andrews — 5/5 (via Google)

I had an excellent experience getting medium knotless braids at this shop. From start to finish, the service was exceptional. I had two stylists working on my hair, which made the process efficient without feeling rushed. Both were professional, attentive, and very skilled. My braids are neat, lightweight, and exactly what I asked for. The environment was welcoming and well-organized. I will absolutely be returning and recommending this place to others.

Love that they are open at 5am! My experience was good here at Blessed African Braids in Mesquite. The ladies are respectful and professional. I gave 4 stars due to me booking my appointment at 5am and being told that I'd be out before 8am, yet, I didn't get seated this morning until after 6am and left at 10am. I called yesterday to confirm this information before booking my appointment. Totally understand that things happen, but I unfortunately missed another appointment due to this. Additionally, I wasn't aware they only accepted cash and Zelle. Maybe I missed that info on their website, which is an awesome way to book your appointment, by the way. I paid my deposit by card on the website so I figured I could pay the balance by card as well. I should have asked that when I called but it didn't cross my mind. That wasn't a deal breaker for me, but just be prepared for that. I do like my hair. No, I didn't ask for edges swooped across my forehead so I didn't get any. Overall, I would return and hope that my appointment starts closer to the time I requested.
