I’ve referred three people so far, and they’ve all had the same great experience I’ve had. It’s refreshing to walk into a place with high expectations and actually receive exactly that. I’ve even walked in last minute for a touch-up just minutes before my father’s birthday and still left very pleased. Another visit, I was tired of my usual freestyle box braids, and they created a cornrow style with individual braids in the back—since then, I’ve received even more compliments. Now for my birthday, I came back for a bob style, and Mrs. Mummy executed it perfectly once again. I know the reviews online can give mixed signals, but I’ve been here eight times, and my experience has always been good. Consistency, skill, and great service keep me coming back. Highly satisfied every time.

I got some old school micro braids yesterday. The ladies did a great job. I rotated between Mommy & another lady. (Sorry forgot her name). My head doesn’t hurt. My only regret is not consulting with them beforehand. The hair I bought is a train wreck! It sheds horribly and is drenched in chemicals. I washed it the next day to get rid of the smell and it was black hair dye and immense shedding everywhere! However, this was no fault to the braiders. I brought the hair and they recommended other brands which I wish I would have known beforehand. A consultation would have saved lots of time & money. Im just expressing so nobody makes the same mistake. I would definitely go back. Great service!

I got scissor happy earlier this week and decided to basically cut all of my hair off (lol). I called them a couple of hours before closing because I DESPERATELY needed my hair done and they really went the extra mile to get me in last minute. I originally wanted 6 feed in braids, but had to do 8 because of my hair length. I really didn’t mind because the braider that serviced me had no issue braiding my short hair and I was SO thankful because a lot of places would’ve said no. There were also two other people in the salon getting their hair done and the braiders did an amazing job with them as well. This industry is tough because they deal with a lot of attitudes and rude customers. So I was so happy that they were quick, friendly, and trying to get me right. I will definitely be making this my main location from now on. Thank you ladies!
