We absolutely love Circa! Carter has impeccable taste and carefully considers my son’s hair texture and his requests. Carter has a keen eye for detail and has executed every haircut with precision! Kristina and Kalie are both very talented barbers at this shop! Both of them have great attention to detail, listen to what you want, and make you look and feel amazing. They are both great at cutting a variety of hair lengths. All of their haircuts are perfect! They are both personable and really cool people to chat with while getting your cut. The shop is also a really cool space and adds to the overall great experience! I highly recommend Kristina and Kalie at this shop! Book with one of them for your next haircut. You will not regret it!

Circa Barber Shop has been my first barbershop experience in Columbia after moving here from out of state, and I honestly couldn’t have picked a better place or a better person. I see Kalie, and she is the real deal. The last person who cut my hair did it for 20 years, so walking into a new barbershop in a new state and trying to explain what I wanted was harder than I expected. I didn’t even really know how to describe it. Kalie made it easy. She asked the right questions, helped me figure out what would actually look best, and guided me toward a cut that turned out amazing. She’s consistent, detail-oriented, and the haircut is always clean. The blend is on point, it grows out well, and I leave feeling like it was done right every single time. She’s also just a genuinely great person to talk to, which makes the whole experience even better. Circa itself is exactly what I want in a barbershop. The feel is more boutique and not like a typical walk-in chain, the shop is clean and organized, and the vibe is relaxed without feeling chaotic. You can tell they care about the quality of the work and the client experience. Kalie is going to be stuck with me until one of us moves. Highly recommend.

I had asked Kristina to give me a flow cut; I had even showed her an Instagram reel that my fiancé had sent me. She was so cool about it and gave me a walk through for how although my hair type was different than the person in the video, she could definitely make it work. When I finally looked in the mirror, I was blown away at the end result. My hair was so stylish and cool! When I got home, my fiancé was thrilled at how great my haircut was! Thank you Kristina!
