I recently came back here after a long time because it’s very convenient and close to where I live. I decided to treat myself to a self-care day and got my face waxed, eyebrows done, and a facial. ANGIE took very good care of me. She was gentle and thorough with the waxing and made sure my face was clean and my eyebrows were shaped properly. After the waxing, she took me upstairs for my facial. The room was warm with a heater and soft, calming music, which made the experience relaxing and peaceful. The facial itself was nice and relaxing, but I personally wish there had been more massage, exfoliation/scrubbing of the products, and blackhead removal — which is what I’ve experienced with facials in the past. I also upgraded to a higher-end face mask, thinking it would be a liquid cream mask, but it wasn’t what I expected. I didn’t ask detailed questions beforehand, so that part is on me. However, for $100, I don’t feel the facial was quite worth the price for what was included. Since I had extra time, I also decided to get gel manicures and pedicures. Unfortunately, the gel polish on my hands started coming off within a day or so, and now about a week later most of it has peeled off completely. This is why I usually don’t get regular manicures and stick to simple clean-ups with clear polish. On the positive side, the pedicure was very nice — she did a great scrub and massage, and that part felt worth it. Overall, I spent a lot of money on myself that day, and I don’t regret treating myself. If I return, I would probably choose the $45 facial instead and skip the gel manicure.

I had gel+chrome for $57 in total. This is my first time getting manicure in the US and I would say I generally had a good experience. I hold a high standard when it comes to my nails and I would rate the manicure job a 7.5/10. The manicurist took care of my every request, and she tried to make my nails look good. I really appreciate her effort. I was almost satisfied. The quality of the gel manicure was really poor. It was not durable at all compared to the manicure job in my country. After 5 days the chrome powder peeled off and that was even after they fixed it! It’s crazy.
