We took our 9 month old to Michelle (who we decided on from her positive reviews on here) for his first haircut and she was so lovely! I know there are some less than stellar reviews on here but when we went it seemed like such a great environment for kiddos. He got to watch Sesame Street (his fav) and even though at times he was paying more attention to the hair cutting and clippers being used, it was all around a great experience! Michelle was so gentle and patient with him and made sure to familiarize him with the clippers each time she tried to use them. He didn't love the clippers overall but she was still able to give him a great haircut. We will definitely go back to her again!

I’ve had “eh” experiences and good experiences here. I feel some stylists are just there for a paycheck (fair that’s how I feel about my job but you are choosing to work with children??) and then others are much better with the children. I definitely have two favorite stylists there. They’re both great with the children. The kids love the place and are always happy to go and that’s what matters most to me because kids just don’t like getting their hair cut. Took my daughter for her first cut (almost 3) today and her stylist was so kind and patient with her and after we left my daughter said “that was better than I thought” and that she “loved” the lady and only wanted her to wash her hair from now on. The stylists have to deal with squirming, yelling children and I don’t expect them to be perfect under the circumstances. I will continue to come back and I will always recommend.

I took my two year-old for his very first haircut he is biracial and has extremely curly thick hair that gets knotted and he is very tender headed I literally have had to come through his hair for two hours while he is crying and screaming, and he came to Cookie Cutters and absolutely loved it. Sarah was excellent with him. He did not cry at all. his haircut looks perfect and easy to manage. He loved playing at the playground. It was well worth the money spent. They gave him a laminated certificate with his picture and his hair as well as a balloon and a sucker and it was like a whole event! My 12-year-old daughter also came and got a trim and was treated like a princess by Michelle and got a style of some pretty braids with adorable butterfly, colorful clips! We will definitely be back this idea for this place has been an answer to my prayers! 🥰🫶🏻💕💗 I’ve included before and Afters of my two-year-old’s hair!
