I took my teenage son (who absolutely hates getting his haircut) here. The stylist Olivia did an excellent job and is a lovely, talented and friendly person. My son went from complaining about having to go to immediately asking to go back here next time. As his mother, I could see my son’s confidence and self esteem improve by the end of the visit and that is priceless. Thanks Olivia and the Crows Nest for a great experience. Highly recommended.

The Crow’s Nest does not disappoint. My hair is not easy to cut, but Scott takes the time to understand the crown and the hair type; he doesn’t only give a good cut, he makes sure it’ll grow the right way as well. I got my hair cut over a week ago, and as each day passes my appreciation of this haircut only grows bigger. The staff are all very friendly and the atmosphere is great. Highly recommend!

Been getting my haircut here for 5 years with Olivia - wouldn't trust my hair anywhere else in ottawa. Extremely dog friendly! Great atmosphere, great people, you can go test out mustard on a pretzel at Maker House while you wait.

My son has not had a hair cut he has liked in a very long time. So I gave up the battle for about a year and a half. Finally watching him walk down the street and watching his crazy hair and getting tired of listening to comments from people. I asked my son if I found a barber that was LGBTQ friendly if he would be willing to go for just a trim. He agreed reluctantly. I sent him pictures of the barbers in the shop and he picked Olivia. I dropped him off handed over my master card and said don't forget to tip! She looked at his hair, asked him if he knew the show boy meets world (which he does) and said well your hair is giving me Shawn vibes. Pulled up a picture showed my son and got to work! He was so happy he walked back to the car with a smile on his face. Thank you Olivia for giving him a great experience getting his hair done we will definitely be back when he needs a trim!
