UPDATE. I want to commend Curl Evolution on striving for full customer satisfaction. I was offered an opportunity to get my issues addressed which I took them up on. Simone did a great job making adjustments to my haircut to my satisfaction. I do need time for a section to grow in and fill in better but I am happier with my cut and definitely the styling of my hair. (Pic 4 & 5) I received a gift certificate for a first curly cut experience here. I was very excited for my appointment. I had been following on instagram and I thought this is going to be the place for me. I don’t have curly hair but have all three of the #2 curl patterns so I hoped for pointers on styling with a good cut. Everyone was very friendly and pleasant. My stylist was professional and provided a lot of information. I will say that it felt very scripted like she says the same thing all day long (as I’m sure she probably does) but made it more robotic and not any sort of personalized. It came to the final stage of my cut. I asked her to cut a bit more layers in because I felt like the shape wasn’t as rounded as I thought it could be. She proceeded to concentrate on one side more than the other and I felt like it was disjointed and pointed that out and she said no that it was pretty even. Since then I’ve styled it a couple of times and it is definitely uneven and has led me to the disappointing conclusion that I will go back to cutting my own hair.

I didn’t just get my hair washed—I left learning more about how to care for my curls. The stylist who worked with me, Ashley, was beyond attentive and dedicated. She didn’t make me feel like “just another client”; instead, I felt like she was truly invested in helping me look and feel my best. The products they used were amazing—super nourishing and hydrating, which is exactly what my bleach-damaged curls needed. By the end, my hair looked revived and full of life again. To top it all off, Allison, the owner, went out of her way to check in with me. She was warm, knowledgeable, and shared styling tips tailored specifically for photos and videos (which was so helpful since this was for a business event). That extra attention made all the difference. Overall, the experience was a 10/10. I left not only looking my best but also feeling more confident and cared for. Curl Evolution is now my go-to for curly hair, and I can’t recommend them enough!
