I came here to get my hair done by one of the best ! “Faatima” which is who I booked with definitely got herself a life time client ! She DID HER BIG ONE! & I will forever be grateful for meeting her. Coming from someone who doesn’t trust ppl in her hair, she’s definitely earned mine! Love this salon down! ZB is an amazing stylist all the way around. From making sure you’re comfortable to talking with you the entire time and making sure you’re happy in the end. I have not been to anyone in a long time to do my natural hair out of fear but this place is one you can believe you’re in good hands. Book these beautiful ladies!

I've been going to this salon for four years after I came across it by chance, it's such a gem in Charlotte! My hair has flourished since being taken care of by Fileeta, she's been my go to stylist for all of these years and my hair is the healthiest it's ever been in her hands! She's helped me transition from relaxed, straight natural, to curly natural; and all of this is while I've been changing hair cuts and hair colors at least 2-3 times a years! I made the decision yesterday to visit a new, DIFFERENT hair salon, to try box braids for the first time in 10 years. Well, to keep a long story short, it was a disaster. I was so afraid that my hair would be damaged, and all my hair progress ruined because the braids were wayyy too tight. I booked a last minute appointment with a new (to me) stylist at DBD salon. Her name is Faatimah and she took me under her wing bright and early, releasing my hair from those braids swiftly and gently. She was so kind and understanding, empathizing with my situation, and giving me pointers about my hair. She even let me add another service on top of my wash and go, to make sure I left the salon renewed and confident! My curls are so soft and bouncy, it's almost ridiculous! I feel so blessed to be able to work with these two stylists, Fileeta and Faatimah. They're joys to work with, prioritizing hair health and knowledge, and they make sure you're comfortable and heard!
