Where do I begin... DJ is one of the most genuine, knowledgeable, and creative hair stylist I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Within a month of learning from her, I managed to reduce my wash days by HOURS, learn more about the type of maintenance needed for my hair type, and learn to love my natural hair more and more! She is invested in your hair journey and your comfort. When you leave her chair, you feel more confident in how to take care of your hair at home, which is not an experience you find at every salon. 100/10 recommend booking you consultation with her TODAY! :)

The service here is a 20/10 !! If I could leave 20 stars, I would! I loved everything about my experience from how easy and clear it was when booking the appointment, navigating through parking, and finding the suite location. She is an angel - heaven sent! Very nice and sweet with the kindest personality. She listens to your concerns with ZERO judgement, create an effective hair care plan for you, and walks you through everything. Open to answer any questions you may have and keeps the brightest smile on her face while doing so. I was so comfortable being there. The suite itself is very clean and cute. She also provides complimentary snacks and refreshments for you. I’m so happy to have found someone to care for my hair as they do their own. I received my first hair botox treatment and I will be back for more! I’ll also leave pictures of the process here in the review. I love how she really took the time to find out about the history of my hair, the products I’ve used/ currently using, and actually closely examined my scalp to show me all the buildup I had around my follicles which I never had a stylist ever do for me before. I have found my forever natural hair care stylist! She is the real deal!!! Thank you so much Deborah !!!

DJ is the truth! She has such beautiful energy, and thorough expertise in caring for natural hair. She analyzed my routine and products and provided a thorough report that covered her insights on those areas as well as holistic health. I received a treatment, haircut, and beautiful style- half flat twists half two-stand twists. She goes above and beyond to make sure you’re comfortable. This was the best salon experience I’ve had in a long time. She’s worth every penny and more🤎

I got instant locs for the first time. Took about 8 hours from wash to finish. It does not hurt, my scalp feels clean and not tight. She made me feel so comfortable and she’s so cool and down to earth. Prices are reasonable. I love my hair and will definitely come back! Thank you!

So I had to take the time to write about my experience at @djstylesmiami salon. @djstylesmiami is a hairstylist, more specifically a trichologist, who specializes in treating hair and scalp problems. There aren’t to many trichologist in Miami so when @the.cospace recommended her I was overjoyed to check her out for my daughter. My daughter suffers from a very flaky scalp, I’m talking itchy and white a minute after shampoo and conditioning so to see her scalp squeaky clean, without irritation, completely detangled, and curls popping for an entire week has been amazing. If you know me then you know how important my crown is to me, and even the more for my mini me! @djstylesmiami was quick to respond, book and provide instructions for our appointment which I loved because it left no guess work for me. Also, there wasn’t a laundry list of things to do in meeting for the appointment which again was a plus. During the session, @djstylesmiami taught me literally EVERYTHING that I needed to know about my daughter’s hair. I gotta tell y’all she blew my mind with the techniques she taught me (I’m talking grassroots stuff like how to properly wash your hair) which she allowed me to do hands on, the technology she used (hair follicle imaging and red light steaming), the clinical write up of hair products, treatments (inexpensive but hair type specific and reputable), as well as time frames for wash days to continue my daughter’s hair growth. @djstylesmiami even reinforced all the good that I’d done thus far with my daughter’s hair by telling her that the methods that I was teaching her was correct and that her hair was thriving because of it!!! That meant so much because we know society will tell our children, especially our black children that who they are isn’t enough and @djstylesmiami reinforced that not being true. @djstylesmiami was hilarious, welcoming, and a wealth of knowledge. The appointment was worth EVERY PENNY and as an adult I can say it was my best salon experience EVER! I am so very happy that I could give that experience to my daughter as well and I look forward to post about the appointments and the hair growth going forward!
