I had a wonderful experience here!!! I got my hair cut with blonde highlights from Laura. She's new and did an amazing job!! The salon was gorgeous and I felt super comfortable. Lauren was supervising and she was so friendly. I really enjoyed chatting with both of these ladies. All my friends & family loved the way my hair turned out. I will definitely be coming back and recommending to others.

Minus 5, would be appropriate! Sept 4, 2025 I arrived 10 min early for my 9:30AM cut & color with a "Master" stylist, I had used twice before with good, not great results? When she, K, finally got around to me, at 10 or so, she seemed a bit harried and brusque, not unusual? Color proceeds, then I get sidelined to the bench, while K completes her previous client So at $370 rates, she double books and rakes in every $ possible, with no regard for client time? When they must slap on emulsifier in process of rinsing color, you know you've been over processed and the mistake is being covered? On to the cut, a fairly simple bob; where I made mistake of using a not too short or "butchy" adjective; you'd have though I dropped a F or N word? My 2 gay relatives, whom I adore; tell me I was treated horribly, and no big deal, especially when referring to myself? Once I am done, K, followed me into the lobby wile I'm paying to loudly announce, I am no longer allowed at Dosha and she and I aren't a good fit; on that we can agree, you go to a salon to be pampered and made to feel a bit pretty? Not to be insulted and humiliated; a real professional would have quietly explained and been kind; NOT HERE? AS if, that weren't enough I arrived home to a phone message; to call the manager, which I did, expected an apology for the incident? But no, she was calling to tell me of their inclusivity policy; WOKE lives here? If you are 73, post stroke, as I am; and a bit physically challenged; there is no inclusivity? Clearly, they keep some type of "Gestapo" list in the system, keeping track of any innocent dialogue? It was indicated, I was warned previously? Absurd! Caveat Emptor, Buyer beware? 2 previous reviews about this horror, have been deleted, will see how long this one lasts?

I’ve been seeing Kim Botner for quite a few years (around 5 years which is crazy how time flies!) and I’ve always been happy when I walk out of the salon! She’s always done a great job blending between a style and color I’d like to think would work with my thin/very fine hair and giving great advice for what will actually work for my hair that still achieves something similar to my thoughts. I’d prefer a stylist be realistic on helping me achieve a cut and color that is healthy for my hair without causing damage or breakage than someone who will just do whatever knowing it may turn out with bad results! She’s always been kind and I’ve always gotten compliments on my hair after seeing her. There have been other stylists over the years that I’ve seen at other salons before I found Kim that have butchered my hair as it’s so thin and fine, it’s not easy to mask a bad haircut. Not once have I felt like that after I’ve had Kim cut my hair. Will definitely keep going back! I also should mention that I live about 5 minutes from the Beaverton Dosha but keep coming back to this location specifically so Kim can cut my hair because I trust her.
