I had such a great experience at Downstreet Hair Salon today with Lydia! I came in for the first time to get a little bit of hair tinsel added for my 29th birthday. I didn’t want anything too flashy, just something subtle where you can see a little sparkle when the light hits it. Lydia knew exactly what I meant and did it perfectly. She also flat-ironed my hair and worked with my wig, which not everyone is comfortable doing, but she handled it like a total pro. She was very confident, professional, and clearly really skilled at what she does. On top of that, she was very kind and easy to talk to, which made the whole appointment really enjoyable. I’m so glad I found her and will definitely be coming back to Lydia in the future, especially if I want to try new styles with my wig. She did a fantastic job and I highly recommend her! She is also very reasonably priced!

Lydia did an amazing job on my hair. She did a reverse balayage and a trim, and it turned out exactly how I wanted—beautifully blended, natural, and so healthy. She took the time to listen, explained what she was doing, and made the entire appointment feel comfortable and relaxed. Lydia is both friendly and professional, and you can tell she genuinely cares about her clients and her work. The salon itself is clean, welcoming, and has such a great atmosphere, which made the experience even better. I left feeling confident, refreshed, and already looking forward to my next appointment.
