I have been coming to Dotie’s for 3 years and I love it here. Dotie started my locs and then I transitioned to Kia as my permanent stylist. I go to the original Dallas location & would not trade my stylist for anyone. Kia is an AMAZING stylist; she has kept my hair so healthy during my entire loc journey & the amount that my locs have grown thanks to her maintenance is absolutely insane! Her retwists’ last me quite a while because I maintain it with the products from the shop and keep my satin bonnets in heavy rotation. Lately I’ve been doing a lot more protective styles for my travel and when I say they’ve held up through EVERYTHING I mean it. I have gotten my hair wet on a trip to SeaWorld and Aquatica, went a few week long cruises, been to amusement parks on roller coasters, and riding in slingshots all day in the heat…trust me when I say that I’ve tested the limits of her retwist time & time again and believe me when I say it HOLDS. Every hairstyle I’ve asked her for has been executed to perfection. I would definitely recommend booking with Kia, she is super friendly and professional. Every time that I go, I have a GREAT experience and my hair looks amazing, that’s why I keep coming. So go ahead and book with Kia & make sure you tell her Yas sent you. :) Thank me later

If you ever needed a loctician, I recommend Dreds by Dotie. From the moment of booking online to the ending of my appointment, I experienced nothing but professionalism!! Not only that, I was educated about my loc journey on what went wrong, what went right, products to use and not use, my current hair and scalp condition, and of course good ole healthy girl chat! It was relaxing and quick with quality service. I had a wash, retwist of my mini locs, with a style in under 2 hours!!!! Listen!!!!!!!! Time is valuable to me and I will definitely be back for another quality service with a loctician that respects my style request, my hair type, my time, and me as a person. Dotie got me walking out the shop a brand new woman with new confidence as a beautician/loctician should! Thank Dotie!
