She is amazing.. I had locs for 3 years. I decided to take them down. My hair was a tangled mess. She detangled my hair in less than 10 minutes(with her own detangling solution). My hair was washed, conditioned, and steamed. My hair felt fabulous!! After sitting under the dryer, my hair was blowed out and flat-ironed to perfection. She decided to give me long layers and I loved it. She is very knowledgeable about all types of hair. Dudley trained(IYKYK).

Overall I’m just really happy I found this spot. They definitely care about your hair and explain what they’re doing so you can take care of it at home too. If your looking for a place that actually cares about natural hair, this is the one. I’m for sure coming back!! 🙌🏾

Ms. Tam is so phenomenal. She did my first ever curly cut and it is the first time I have walked out of a salon with exactly what I described having been done to my hair. I went back for a custom balayage and even though my hair proved difficult Ms. Tam worked over time with me to get the exact result we both wanted without damaging my curl pattern. I also picked up their curly girl shampoo and moisture mask as well as some hair oil since I have been seeing some breakage on my ends. The shampoo has quickly become my favorite sulfate free shampoo. It lathers so well and smells fruity and clean.

Tam is an amazingly gifted hairstylist who is bar-none in her craft! She understands the assignment! She can tame all types of hair and excels in natural hair. She creates solutions that heal, repair, and restore hair as well as provides glamorous hair transformations! She is truly a hair whisperer!!! Come and see Tam… your hair will forever be grateful!
