I brought my two younger siblings (8 and 10) to Angel for their first piercings, and we couldn’t be happier! I got my eyebrow and they did ears. Angel is extremely knowledgeable and is the first person I’ve gone to on Hawaiʻi Island since Kala at Sin City, and it was worth the wait. It can be hard to find good piercers here but Angel has my complete trust, and she made my young siblings feel so safe and comfortable before getting poked. I will definitely be going back!

Best experience ever with Kait at Electric Jungle Tattoo in Pahoa. She worked with me through messenger to create exactly what my daughter and I wanted for our matching personalized honus. She was very responsive beforehand and wonderful to work with. It was my daughter’s first and Kait really helped her feel comfortable. She is not heavy handed but worked efficiently and kept the details clean and precise. Our ink is exactly what we wanted. Her line work is beautiful, the shop is clean and full of incredible art. I will definitely be back when I’m on the big island! Don’t sleep on Electric Jungle!

My daughter had the absolute pleasure of having Laurie do her first tattoo, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Laurie was so welcoming and reassuring, which meant a lot since my daughter was excited but a little nervous. The shop is filled with beautiful artwork from incredibly talented artists. Even though my daughter’s tattoo was small, Laurie gave it so much care and attention to detail. We are so grateful we found her and can’t wait to return for more work in the future!

Electric Jungle Tattoo was recommended to me by a very dear friend who’s also a tattoo artist. Laurie was my artist. From first contact through IG DM’s - Laurie was kind, professional and helpful. I wanted a custom ladybug design. Laurie drew up my tattoo and she nailed it. Send over my deposit before I flew in to Big Island, scheduled my day and time and was good to go. Shop was so rich with art that was mesmerizing and beautiful. Very clean and well maintained. I felt at home immediately and welcomed. Laurie was very detailed from size, design, placement and pre-tattoo set up of her station. Everything was clean and brand new for equipment/ supplies she used. The tattoo process seamless from start to finish. Laurie is such a phenomenal artist and person. Loved all of our conversations which we talked just about everything! Laurie was so down to earth, kind, and a beautiful mind & soul. I can’t recommend this shop enough as well as Laurie. I can’t wait to return again. If you are in need of a great tattoo and time - this is the shop to go to. Worth the travel and trip even if you are staying Kona side. Electric Jungle Tattoo IS the heart and Mana of Pahoa town. Their piercer, Angel, was super sweet and informative. On such a small island, a lot of places can be nerve wracking or money driven, but their services are true. They made a very nerve wracking experience not only fun and calming but sat me down and had a whole chat with me. Perfect for hyping you up during that piercing you’ve wanted forever.
