I’ve been going to this salon for a while now and I honestly couldn’t recommend it more. Megan does my hair absolutely amazingly every single time! No matter what I ask for, whether it’s something completely different or just a refresh, she always makes it look even better than I imagined. She’s also such a lovely, friendly person which makes the whole experience even better. You instantly feel comfortable in her chair, and she’s always happy to try new things with my hair when I ask. Nothing ever feels like too much trouble, and she consistently delivers incredible results. The salon itself is gorgeous, such a lovely atmosphere and everyone there is so warm and welcoming. It’s such a friendly environment, and you can tell the team all get along which makes it such a nice place to spend a few hours. I always leave feeling so happy with my hair and already looking forward to my next appointment. Highly, highly recommend! ✨

Amy did such a lovely job cutting my hair. We recently moved back to the area and I hadn’t had my hair cut since the beginning of the year, so it was very much needed! The salon is fab and really welcoming. Booking online was a breeze, and I even managed to get a same-day appointment, which was amazing. I brought along a reference photo as I was having quite a bit of length taken off and a restyle — Amy did a gorgeous cut and I’m so pleased with it. I’ll definitely be back for colour. Would highly recommend!

I came to the salon a few days ago for a consultation. I've had the same hairdresser for nearly 20 years, but decided it was time for a change as I moved to Ibstock 2 years ago and the journey back and forth to my hairdresser was getting to much. I came across Ella J and was very impressed with all the reviews and I know several people who use the salon and they have said how wonderful it is. Megan saw me for my consultation and she was very helpful and friendly and advised the best thing going forward for my hair. I explained i was a little nervous changing hairdressers as I've used the same one for along time. Megan made me feel at ease and confident that my experience at Ella J will be a positive one. Looking forward to my hair transformation on the 24th February 😀

Lovely ladies and all round fabulous salon, the team are very welcoming and make everyone feel at ease. Lovely welcome by Lola (and great hair wash… ps she makes the best, super yummie hot chocolate too). Danielle is a great stylist, so friendly, knowledgeable and easy going! If like me you struggled to find a new salon and stylist, don’t hesitate, you will not be disappointed!
