I’ve been seeing Brea at Figo Salon (Birmingham) for 10 years, and I honestly can’t imagine trusting anyone else with my hair! She has completely transformed my hair over the years. I have curly hair, and she’s always so gentle with color while making sure it looks vibrant and healthy. Plus, her head massages are honestly the best I’ve ever had💆‍♀️ my hair always looks and feels amazing afterward. Brea is talented, kind, and truly cares about her clients. I’m so grateful to have her as my Stylist and hair therapist lol.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (Mitchel) After trying dozens of stylists and barbers over the years, I can say without hesitation that Mitch operates on an entirely different level. What sets him apart isn't just skill, it's philosophy. He doesn't approach a haircut with a preset template in mind. From the first appointment, he assessed my hair's natural growth patterns, my cowlicks, my hairline, and my face shape before a single scissor touched my head. That consultation alone told me everything. This is someone who treats every client the way a bespoke tailor treats a suit, nothing off the rack, everything intentional. Mitch's approach is reminds me very much of wabi-sabi — the Japanese principle of finding beauty in what is natural, imperfect, and unique. He doesn't fight your hair. He doesn't force it into a shape it was never meant to hold. He works with your texture, your growth direction, your features, and crafts something that feels like it was always supposed to look that way. It's a rare philosophy in an industry flooded with cookie-cutter fades and trend-chasing. He is scissor-first, which is increasingly rare. The result is a cut that moves naturally and grows out cleanly, not something that looks sharp for a week and falls apart by the third. What also speaks volumes is his commitment to his craft beyond the chair. Mitch continuously attends the highest-level styling courses available, studying under the best in the world. That dedication shows. He works with clientele I simply cannot name here and if you know, you know. In my opinion, there is no one better in Michigan. Full stop. Birmingham is lucky to have him.
