I love coming to First Place because of the level of artistry and professionalism I’ve experienced from both the tattoo artists and piercers. Ana worked on my tattoo for 8 months and it came out beautifully and it’s like I have a living mural now on my body. And I’ve gotten pierced by the owner, Justin, along with Victoria. They each have demonstrated their expertise from helping me select jewelry to precise piercing. They also are all very compassionate and empathetic to the pain (but no pain no gain!). If you’re looking for a professional place to adorn your body look no further. They take good care of you here.

What a great experience from the moment I walked into the shop! Extremely easy check in process and very friendly staff. Victoria was great in explaining the entire process - giving me recommendations on what jewelry would be best to start out with based on the styles I liked. Went over what the piercing process would feel like and was GREAT at explaining the after care process. Highly recommend First Place, and of course Victoria!

I’ve had nothing but excellent piercing experiences here and am so happy to have a solid local shop near me! Everyone is friendly and does a great job putting people at ease. Pricing is more than fair and the jewelry selection is beautiful. I love every piercing I’ve gotten here and can’t wait to get tattooed!

This tattoo “parlor” is incredibly attractive, clean, and well staffed. I came in for a nose piercing, and the owner, Justin Booth, was friendly, professional, and a true gentleman. He was very informative, gentle, and made me feel completely safe throughout the process; an easy A+ experience. The atmosphere is honestly dope. It’s sleek with a subtle gothic edge, and it genuinely inspired me to remain focus and open my own tattoo parlor in the near future. I noticed the tattoo artists working toward the front of the shop, setting up client designs on tablets, which I thought was a great and modern concept. One small suggestion: adding small monitors at each station so clients can view the designs above or nearby would be a nice touch, it would allow clients to stay engaged without having to hover. As a new artist myself, I definitely wouldn’t want people breathing down my neck either 😄. I also would have loved a quick tour of the shop. It’s such a beautiful space, and I think that behind-the-scenes look would only add to the experience. Overall, this is a place I would absolutely recommend, not just as a client, but as someone interested in the business side of tattooing as well. Justin seems like a genuinely cool guy, and I wish him nothing but continued success. ❤️ Well done my friends. (Tipping my hat 🎩)

Highly recommend the apprentice Dylan for your fine line tattoo needs. Me and my bestie went in getting just a basic black outline tattoo, mine had some shading in the moon, hers didn’t but we both left extremely happy. Sooo smooth. I was a big baby for the first 15-20 minutes until my leg got numb and Dylan continuously checked on me, making sure I was okay and good to keep going. Pricing was also extremely fair. (I don’t have any photos of the sun my friend got but if she sends I’ll update my review to include). Was also pierced by the owner Justin and his hands were smooth. If it wasn’t my nose I’m sure I wouldn’t have even noticed because the only thing that bothered me was the tears in my eyes. I also super appreciated he marked me, wasn’t happy with the mark and adjusted it. He cared enough to ensure I’d be happy with placement regardless if I went hoop or post. 10 out 10. Highly recommend this shop. Front desk was also super helpful while booking. Spoke to a woman but didn’t catch her name. I called back three times in a row to adjust our appointment and you could tell she had a smile on her face the entire time. Gentleman working the front desk the day of our appointment was also super friendly and helpful.
