I love Frizzy Melon. The atmosphere there is so cozy, friendly, and welcoming. Not intimidating at all. Up until this past fall, I was cutting my own hair at home because I have had countless disappointing experiences with haircuts! When I wanted to go short, short I decided I needed the help of an expert. I'm so happy I found Kristen! She is great! I'm always happy when I walk out the door having booked my next appointment.

My husband and I were looking for a new hairstylist in the Loveland area, and a family member recommended the Frizzy Melon. We've been regulars for some time now and love it there! Bella is the sweetest and always does a wonderful job on our hair. She always shows an interest in our lives, which shows that she gets to know her clients, and I love that. We are always welcomed into the salon with a warm greeting and smile. The atmosphere is cozy and relaxing. We are offered a beverage during each visit, which is so kind. I highly recommend the Frizzy Melon Salon, and I hope they are around for a long time because we love it!

Casey has been doing my hair for the last 15 years. I wouldn’t look elsewhere. Casey recently did my hair for my wedding as well. FLAWLESS. I would recommend her and her team every single time. Love them!!

I needed help and Frizzy Melon Salon came through. My son is getting married in August and I need a more feminine hairstyle as mother-of-the groom. I sent messages to three local salons explaining my situation: thick/heavy, wavy and graying hair that has always been worn short; in need of help to get through the middle phase of trying to let it grow out, during the hot summer months when I have been known to take a scissors to it myself to keep it off my face and neck. Only Frizzy Melon replied...and, in less than 12 hours. They had a consultation set up for me within 2 days. And they were quite "excited" to be able to help. I had been to the location years ago when it was Salon Rapport, so I knew where to go. For anyone new, you may pass the drive the first time, but just go around the block and try again. It is located in one of the "homes converted to a business" along W. Loveland Ave. just west of "downtown" or "old" Loveland, and a few building east of the quilting store (which is on the corner). The driveway is tucked between the red brick building and the salon (structures 3 and 4 on that side of the road). Parking lot is in the rear. The inside is larger than it appears from the outside and they have all sorts of services available. Kristen was my assigned stylist. She is friendly, non-judgemental, knowledgeable and skilled. We talked for several minutes about my needs and concerns. She told me about what she could offer, gave me tips on how to attain healthier hair, then did a dry cut on the spot to help get the process to longer, more feminine styling started. I left with a sample of shampoo that would not strip all the natural oils from my hair during my daily washing, and a cut that I am still pleased with four days later. I will be returning in one month for another trim and color highlighting (which will help me find the right shade for the wedding). I feel very confident that I will attain the perfect look for my mother-of-the groom role in August.

My first time here was yesterday and I have now found my permanent spot!! Kristen did an absolutely fabulous job and was so kind amd easy to talk to about about anything really. She was ready to take on the challenge of the blue in my hair and achieved removing it healthily and I love how it turned out! Thank you guys so much and I will be back in October 🖤
