Highly recommend this place! One of the best shops on St. Marks- staff is super friendly and helpful with working with you on your wants and budget. My favorite tattoo artist Alberto is an amazing talent. I know have 5 pieces from him, 2 which were custom and they are works of art. Alberto is professional and very kind, and his talent is top caliber. Check him out and def get your next piece here!

If you are in the market for a tattoo in New York City, look no further than Fun City. The shop hosts a range of artists, all very capable and easy to work with. The chill, clean, and fun atmosphere attracts top talent, and so you are likely to find an artist who can deliver exactly what you envision for your new ink. The incredible staff will help you through the process if you are unsure or it's your first time. Personally, I have worked a lot with Big Steve, the shop's owner. In addition to him being an exceptionally skilled artist, he works incredibly fast. His quality and speed have brought me back many times, as well as the shop's nostalgic atmosphere (it's the longest running in all of NYC) on iconic St Marks street. World class establishment, would recommend.

I was away on vacation and had a tattoo done in the Philippines over the holidays. I fully regret the amateurish work. When I got back, I couldn’t sleep until i could get an appointment for Big Steve to correct it. I trust his work so much, I knew everything will be ok. And it surely went well. My bunch of solid cherries which appeared discolored after a month of healing was finally retouched and corrected by Big Steve! He added some shading as well and I’m very very pleased! Fun City and all its artists are trustworthy, professional and very kind. I love my experience here. Will not waste time having it somewhere else, ever again. Can’t wait for my next tattoo…..

I'm still healing (3 days to go) but I had a great experience at Fun City. Jesus, the artist who worked on me, was terrific. I'm very happy with my tattoo so far and expect to be even happier when the bandage is removed. It was fun chatting with the rest of the crew and recommending local restaurants for them to try. I would highly recommend Jesus and Fun City.

I've been to Fun City Tattoo nine times now and my wife has been three times. I have been going for approximately 8 years now and I've solicited Ryan as the artist every single time. I think that the fact I've used the same shop with the same artist every single of the last nine times speaks to my satisfaction with my experiences but if I'm to elaborate on that then I would say that those of my tattoos that are visible in everyday attire are regularly being noticed and complimented on, often times to the extent that people ask me where I had them done and who did them. I cannot recommend the shop or the artist enough.
