I highly recommend if you have a high energy toddler who is resistant to getting hair cut. My toddler was handled with so much patience and really made the experience fun. Going in I didn't really have high hopes that we would even get any hair cut off but it was a great experience and my little boy (3 year old) finally had his first haircut.

Great service and knows how to tame lots of wavy fine hair without the thinning shears, which always ruins the curls. I work close by and several months ago was so fed up w my hair I walked in and he worked his magic on it. Twice so far. This is the second time going to see Ronnie and I couldn’t be happier. My family has straight hair except my daughter. She has beautiful bouncy curls… I had no idea what kind of cut to do and initially thought about just cutting off the ends. After speaking to the owner about what I wanted, he mentioned layers. And I felt lost, I thought I knew what I wanted but started panicking. He saw my hesitation and asked what was wrong. I explained to him that this was my daughter’s first hair cut and I’m unsure on what cuts go well with curly hair. He immediately took charge and asked if I trusted him to give my daughter the best cut. I gave him permission to do “the works” and he got straight to work. We had a pleasant conversation while he was cutting her hair and once he was done, he even gave her some candy (and even my mom, she enjoyed that) Needless to say, experience is top tier and we will be returning. Prices are very reasonable. And if he asked if you trust him? Trust him.

I just found my new go-to barber! Ronnie, located in the Cottage Exchange building in Wilmington, did an incredible job on my haircut. He’s upbeat, great to talk to, and clearly takes pride in his work. The space is beautiful—with exposed brick walls and a clean, modern feel—and parking is easy with free validated parking in the back. Pricing is similar to discount places like Great Clips, but the level of service and skill is on a completely different level. So glad I found this place. Highly recommend Ronnie if you want an excellent cut and an all-around great experience!
