I went back because the young man there did such a good job last time. Really listened to what I wanted in detail. And it turned out great. This time I brought my husband in for a haircut and beard trim. It had been nearly 8 months for him, because the girl he used to like in Roanoke closed down and he was scared to try someplace new. He looks like a big tough guy, but everyone has their insecurities. So that nice young man, whose name I've forgotten, I'm sorry, took him in hand, listened to him. My husband's hair is a bit difficult, because he hates normal "men's" hair styles. He wants it slightly longer so we can see his curls. And he loves his full beard, but sometimes it needs to be tamed a bit so he doesn't look like he just wandered out of the mountains. Not to mention keeping it out of his mouth. The haircut looked a bit too short while it was wet. But once he took a shower and let it air dry the curls came out just right. It's a good thing they keep a record of your haircuts because we'll definitely be requesting that young man again, but I am completely blanking on his name.
