Customer Reviews for Great Wave Tattoo
Jenna Reed — 5/5 (via Google)
I had an incredible experience at Great Wave Tattoo in Austin. I came in wanting a traditional Japanese monmon tattoo of my cherished cat, and Bart Bingham went above and beyond. He took detailed photos of my cat, pulled Japanese art references, and custom designed a piece that was truly one-of-a-kind. The final result came out even better than I ever imagined—it’s both meaningful and beautifully executed. If you’re looking for the best Austin tattoo shop for Japanese, American traditional, or custom tattoos, Great Wave Tattoo is the place to go. The artistry, professionalism, and attention to detail here are unmatched. Highly recommend Bart and the whole team at Great Wave Tattoo!
Humans Helping Humans Connect — 5/5 (via Google)
Raleigh has created a breathtaking piece that captures the essence of resilience, unity, and humanity’s enduring connection to nature and growth. The intricate Tree of Life, paired with Jormungandr, the Ouroboros dragon, symbolizes the eternal cycle of life, strength, and transformation. The inclusion of the Texas map and Lone Star grounds the design in a sense of heritage and pride, while the runic accents add depth and timelessness. This tattoo serves as a powerful tribute to the spirit of Texas and the enduring strength of humanity. Raleigh’s attention to detail and artistry make this an extraordinary work of art.
Aurley Garcia — 5/5 (via Google)
Raleigh was a fantastic artist, at the last minute too. All the guys here were nice, fit me in easily as a walk-in, and gave me an incredible tattoo that was reasonably priced. I love it so much. Definitely want to come back here
Kim Bravo — 5/5 (via Google)
Zach has done both of my tattoos and I couldn’t be happier. Even though they’re not his typical style, they are exactly what I wanted! My first had specific pic inspo, but my 2nd was just a list of elements - they both are perfect! Competitively priced, and very enjoyable to talk to! He will always be my go-to.
