Valencia is amazing. She has done 75% of my tattoos including the ones in the photos plus my sternum and both hips. I’ve never had a problem with shading or line work. I have also gotten pieces done by Sergio and Jeremiah and those have also turned out great. You can’t go wrong with any artist in the shop

Very friendly and talented crew. Twice, I've gone in with an idea for a piece and the equivalent of a stick-figure drawing. In a few weeks, there's a masterpiece waiting for me! I've had this result once each from both Miah and Sergio. The other times, I've taken in printouts of exactly what I want and they've put it on me perfectly. Brilliant linework and color, and for the one greyscale piece I've had done, the use of shading and negative space to create detail was mind-blowing! I just went in recently for my first appointment at the new location. Love the space and can't wait to come back for more! Friendly crew and amazing work!

I don’t usually write reviews but this business deserves it. Super satisfied customer here. I showed up on a Sunday & met Valencia (artist) and described what I wanted and why I wanted this specific art. She was up for the task. Made appointment with $50 down & came in on the agreed upon date/time later that week. Valencia was presenting the concept/artwork to me within minutes. She made a few revisions after double checking with me and from there she went straight to work on my tattoo. It came out even better that I had hoped and I had high expectations. Valencia took the time to listen, envision, co-create, and deliver- all at a fair price, with a chill atmosphere. Sidenote: the owner, Jeremiah, was present, also very down-to-earth dude. He’s 100% local straight from the neighborhood, passionate about his trade, and it shows. Well done Grinn & Barrett on Center St for your customer service and easy-to-work-with staff. Valencia, you absolutely killed it. Grateful for the extra detail that you put into my tattoo, that I didn’t even notice until I got home.

Sergio was kind enough to fit me in for a walk in and did a very cute cat cowboy tattoo on my arm. He was pleasant to talk to and had fun stories while maintaining a clean area. I'll definitely be coming back for more tattoos! 🤠
