Lu!!! Please go see Lu. He’s an incredible tattoo artist with over 18 years of experience and his professionalism is noticeable throughout the entire experience. He recently did an ornamental piece on my ankle as well as my full back. If you’re looking for a tattoo artist that is talented, experienced, professional and creates a good vibe.. Lu is your guy :)

Had such a great experience here. I sent them a message and within 2 hours I was in the shop. Super fast service from Leah and my artist was Nat which did an amazing fine line letter on my wrist for me! Nat and Leah were super nice and personable and the shop was super clean and they did a great job of making me comfortable! Overall had such a great experience and hope to be back soon for more awesome tattoos by Nat.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Chely, The Absolute Best! Here I am on my second experience at Guru Tattoo (Little Italy), and I have to say, from the scheduling process with Rachel to the actual tattoo session, coming to Guru Tattoo is always an excellent experience. They assigned Chely to my piece, and what an amazing choice! She is hands down one of the most talented, professional, and detail-oriented tattoo artists I’ve ever met. From the moment I walked in, I felt completely comfortable and confident that I was in the best hands. She really understood what I wanted, no words were even needed, and she brought it to life with her incredible artistic vision. What truly amazed me was that she even watched the movie that inspired my tattoo theme. That level of dedication is rare and made the experience even more special. Her line work is incredibly clean and precise, and the level of detail and organization she brings is on another level. I honestly felt no pain at all! She’s gentle, genuinely friendly, and her warm personality made me feel calm and confident, which means a lot, since I’m a very anxious person. The 8 hours we spent together flew by like nothing. The vibe in the room is calm, clean, and inspiring, exactly what you want for such a personal and meaningful experience. I’m already planning the next part of my sleeve with her. I wouldn’t trust anyone else. Guru Tattoo, you did an amazing job bringing in an artist like Chely, total win! 👏

This review is definitely late but the tattoos I got here at guru are my most complemented. I was looking for a tattoo shop when I first got to California and after some research found guru. I was set up with Kenny for a consultation and he is amazing. When I came in for my first session he made sure my tattoo was perfect and just the way I wanted. He took his time and made sure I was happy with the design and was very patient and kind. He’s an extremely skilled artist and his tattoos never disappoint. Both the artists and the front desk staff are amazing and have great customer service. The shop is very clean and has a great atmosphere. I highly recommend this place and highly recommend Kenny as well. Every time I go out and have my tattoos showing I get a compliment. Very happy with them!

Short version: I. Love. Guru Tattoo. Would 110% recommend for artistry, pricing, environment. Longer: Came in on a whim, called to schedule same day, only an hour later (essentially a walk-in) with Guru, and had Fernando do my art. Right off the bat, love the decor, reception was super warm and welcoming. Then I show Fernando my tattoo ideas, and not inly does he rapidly and accurately sketch them, he *IMPROVES* upon my idea with recommendations, and I instantly love it. Worked on sizing with me and was super on the up-and-up, very transparent about his whole process. This is my sixth tattoo, and this shop, and Fernando, are one of the best experiences I’ve had by far. He finished my tattoo with love and care, and it was over so quickly and honestly nearly painlessly compared to some of my other pieces. The pricing was incredibly affordable, I was legitimately astounded for how little it cost for such an accurate and meaningful piece. I left feeling more than satisfied, and I cannot recommend this parlor, and Fernando, enough. If you’re looking for a good tattoo anywhere in San Diego, I highly, highly, highly recommend you make the trip out to Pacific Beach and visit Guru. It’s more than worth the trip! I’ll be back soon GURU, and thank you Fernando! P.S. You know it’s a good shop when you buy the t-shirt on your way out 😊
