About Haides

Haides operates from a B140 unit at 20018 83A Ave in Langley Township, set within a large commercial plaza on the west side of town. The 5.0 rating across 775 reviews is the rare maximum in the barbering category, a number that doesn't happen by accident — it reflects the kind of service consistency that requires both technical skill and meaningful client communication. The shop accepts walk-ins, with appointments required during peak hours.

Services cover skin fades, scissor cuts, beard sculpting, kids' haircuts, and the occasional intricate design work. Beverages aren't part of the offering, but the focus is squarely on the cut itself — efficient, precise, and finished to the level that justifies the rating. Card and contactless payments are universal at checkout, the parking lot is wheelchair-accessible, and the washroom meets accessibility standards.

The Langley Twp location places Haides within reach of Walnut Grove, Willoughby, and the broader Cloverdale corridor — a wide draw radius for a single shop. What turns first-time visitors into regulars tends to be the consultation upfront: barbers spend the first minute or two understanding hair texture and growth patterns rather than diving into the clippers. For anyone in the Langley area who has been disappointed by formulaic chain cuts, this is the alternative that consistently appears in local recommendations.

Customer Reviews for Haides

Sayaka Harada — 5/5 (via Google)

My son was a bit nervous going in since he was trying a style he’d never had before, but Simon was fantastic. He took the time to answer all of his questions and made thoughtful recommendations that really suited his needs and personal style. Simon was incredibly service-oriented, and his work was very thorough. My son absolutely loves his new haircut — we’ll definitely be coming back!

Winston — 5/5 (via Google)

I've been here multiple times and they've always treated me well. A lot of people have their own specific barbers that they like going to but I tend to book my appointments last minute. You can't really go wrong with any of the people working here, you can tell that they have a drive when it comes to cutting hair and they all excel at it. A couple of my cuts have been with Simon, Lorenzo, Diego, Dom, etc. (sorry if I left anyone out!) Again, you can't really go wrong with anyone, they'll treat you right and get you sorted. Would recommend.

Haides has a great atmosphere and is always welcoming and professional. Simon did a great job with my hair. He listened to what I wanted and made sure everything was clean and precise. The cut is growing out nicely and is easy to style after. I highly recommend Haides.

I had a great experience at Haides. It’s a welcoming environment with a clean, professional atmosphere paired with exceptional barbers. This is my second time going to Barber Simon and he nailed it once again. It’s evident he continues to improve his craft over time, as his attention to detail really shows. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Malek Eldeeb — 5/5 (via Google)

I’ve been going around from barber to barber and was left disappointed every single time. That was until I booked at Haides with Simon. Every part of the appointment was great, booking the appointment was a breeze. And when I arrived I could tell that Simon was not your average barber. He sat me in the chair did a consultation with me, helping pick the right haircut for me. I was in shock when I saw the final result. My hair had never ever looked that good before. For a good price Simon blessed me up and got me right. Now he has a client for life
